Another tip to add is using her passive move speed. If you have a low teammate who escaped a teamfight and is behind you and they are safe from damage, sometimes it's best not to heal them, because you can use their low HP status to get random movespeed. That can allow you to run in and heal someone still in the teamfight and run away just as quickly. Obviously this can vary from game to game, as their could be a random Ez ult that kills that low hp target behind you, but if you pay attention to things like that, this lets you get a ton of free movespeed to stay in the fight longer. Along the same line, if you are in lane and a gank is coming, be aware of who they are focusing. If you are in a bad position and they are focusing your ADC, you can wait to heal them until you are closer, thus getting the movespeed for longer and possibly getting out of your bad position. Don't let them die, obviously, but no point healing them while you are max W distance away if they are safe and you aren't as you'll chunk your HP, lose your MS, and just make it easier for them to turn on you.

One thing I'd like to add is that the amount you heal with Soraka is the same across all champs so sometimes its better to heal the tank because tank's health can be more valuable with armor and magic resist. Especially if they have a spirit visage. Always depends on the situation, though. Can't wait for a Yuumi video!

Nice point. But mathematicaly Is right after about 200+ Armor/magic resist . Because her heals Is number based (not%) = better heal 300hp from 1500 then 300 from 4k. But in right situation you Are right. (Vs full ap/ad team, if you have APC like heimer/xerath..., if you have long range/Safe adc etc) Sry my bad english

some tip: -at lv5 of W (lv9), you can W twice with one Q hit without lost heal soraka w pay heal to use so try to keep ally & your heal same -build [ Relic Shield + Redemption + Shurelya's Reverie + Warmog's Armor + Slot 3 bonus heal Shards ] can give u 3000+ heal at lv13 and u can use Warmog's Armor passive to use W anytime, im really love this build -enemy bot lane regularly buy Executioner's Calling, trade when your ad finish first big item

I have 1.300.000 mastery points on soraka and the only thing I didn't know was that aery can apply two times in arrow for an ally if you heal it with rejuvenation (1 time for heal, 1 time por rejuvenation). Good video, men

d4 peak soraka main here, been playing this champ all roles for many seasons, there is 1 thing not mentioned in video, theres a trick with soraka q/e that other aoe champions have like nunu ult, if the centre of ur q/e is in bush or fog of war, enemies wont see it so u can cheese a bit to hit skillshots as soraka, and she has 1 animation cancel if u do w and q after it cancels the animation which is rly useful when ur lategame with levels and points in qw and high cdr, when u already hit someone with q u can do this for faster and shorter animations, and if u have hextech flash u can q and hextech flash backwards hehe xd going insane hehe xd
Soraka is even now a beast. Immense healing potential, and skill expression. One of the only supports with skill expression, trying to keep 3 people alive in a fight while also plan a good e, requires a bit of reaction speed mechanics. Soraka is the reason I'm a support main, and I don't enjoy playing any other except her. She can hit very good win ratios.

Many of the tips you learn from your first games on Soraka by emphirical experience. I know your content is oriented on average players, I just was expecting at least some tips for high elo players.

Soraka is not good for saving vs burst damage? opposed to what? her W goes down to a 1 second cooldown.. and she has 2 abilities that both heal. and she can get a redemption on top of it. meaning, she can heal someone from 0 to 100% twice in 1.5 seconds if she's good enough.
What I wanted to meant was Soraka has more power on consistent heal. You can agree with that as W cooldown and multiple W is very good. Burst damage usually happens like 1000 damage in 1 seconds, so W R may not cover that fast enough. I wanted to compare with Zillian R or Kayle R, as they are good at countering burst damage. But compared to other shield / heal champs, Soraka is one of the best! I agree with you :) Thanks for the opinion!
I just wonder which builds make soraka more useful and fun-to-play. Heath builds with Warmog, Knight Vow, Spirit Visage (or any stuff that give her 3000HP to active warmog's passive) OR traditional enchanter builds with Athene, Ardent Cencer, Redemtion. Let me know your thoughts guy
if you don't think of winning and just fun, I recommend infinite heal + shield with 3000HP + 45% CD + Enough MP + Aery but to become useful Soraka, you need to balance through skill / HP / utiliy. I'll do my best to grow more to make you have many discussions in here :) Thank you!
Glacial augment (Secondary runes: font od life+revitalize or ingenious Hunter+Ghost poro) build Is hextach glp + twin shadows. Super Fun super usefull in tf And solid dmg (dont do this in rank if you Are not experienced with this (you have more dmg And peel but your w Is weaker) but your runes add some healing over time (means your overall healing would be almost same but portion off IT would be over time) + your build Is more expensive ) Sry my bad english

If you're a newbie i don't reccomend climbing with soraka, cause your mates are comparable to chimps in heat and you're gonna have some headpunching times. I Always played her cause i like her "unique" playstile, but be aware that when u start to play in decent leagues, most of teammates Will ask you to not play her(cause there are Better champs to cover the role, and I agree with that if you play to win and not to have fun). I reccomend to start using her if u really like the playstile from High gold to High plat, but don't onetrick her cause you Will have to drop her in higher leagues in order to climb more efficiently. If you become very good with her you Will pick Just in a few team comps. P.s:If you want to use her in lower leagues, mute everyone and try to Stick to the most fed/good players. Don't let them die :) I Hope i've helped you. Have fun :))
