How about a big brand friday instead of rare whiskey friday? Every other day already is rare whiskey day on this channel, would be cool to see something we can actually obtain
I Just finished my first Ardbeg An Ao bottle. I was alone....Then immediately the song "Fear in the Dark" came to mind. Apparently, the Whisk(e)y Gods have chosen the finish bottle song for me. :)
William, you need to send Rex a box of the Peter Goldman horrors. Put a card on it that says only let Rex open at home, does Dollar General have a whiskey?????
I was doing some research today and found that Canadian whiskey can be any grain, aged in any wood, and be bottled outside of Canada. So if you wanted to do an interesting Canadian release, you could potentially get together with a distillery and have them make you something and send you the barrels when they're ready to bottle.
Gents, very much enjoying the rare whiskey Friday's and the vault work, though I do have a question you may (or may not) be able to answer... Is there a legal way in which these whiskeys can make their way to Canada? Ontario specifically. I'm at the start of my bourbon journey and would like to expand my opportunity to experience new bourbons.
interesting you talking about fruit read or dark dried fruits like figs, plums etc because these flavours i only found in grants family reserve and even more so in ballantines with a funky fruit bread biscuit shortcake finish ,just dark fruits wrapped in cake or cookie dough lingering but i no longer find that in the ballantines last time i tried and i do not find family reserve anymore its all triple wood now and no idc what they tell me its not the same whisky
Just watched an early episode before this one. Rex has become more comfortable in his notes ooooor better at faking it. Top Mooch level either way sir 🍻
Been watching you guys for the last 2 days in hope of breaking into the whiskey world after my mid week ventures into the old fashioned, and honestly I have been loving it. Any suggestions for an old fashioned?
@@copewy22 I will give them a go, I am currently sitting with makers mark, Woodford reserve rye and bourbon. I prefer the makers and the rye is nice but it's a lil more spicy
Anyone getting the quality dropped down to 720p? Doesn't happen anywhere else that I've noticed. When I click this channel my setting go from either 1080p or 1440p HD to 720p and I notice the missing red HD
Hello I just found out that there is whisky name “Lucifer’s Gold” which is a blend of bourbon and scotch. I mean WTF. Can you guys do a video of tasting it.
I had a bottle of Duke. Thought it was a good sipper with a bit of ice but probably will not buy another bottle. BTW, I did find out that the pronunciation of Ga consonant is not uncommon among English speakers. It is perceived as ink rather than ing.
Keep an Avocado at room temp until it gets soft, then put it in the fridge where it will stay that way for about a month. That's the secret with avocados. Not a small window at all.
But you have to be careful what you store them with too. Ethylene-producing fruits can make others ripen much faster. So don't put your bananas near the avocados or you might have rotten avocados and bananas overnight. You also have to be careful when they go in the fridge and what they go next to. Apples, pears, bananas, honey dew will all ripen each other faster.
Of course ethanol is going to "jump" out of the glass THREE SECONDS AFTER YOU ADD THE WATER...This guys suppose to now about whisky, seems like started to taste things yesterday.
Call it a rare American whiskey/ bourbon Friday and rest of the week just normal bourbon/ American whiskey review. Either 99% of your subscribers are from US or you guys just ignoring your international viewers, to be host for anyone outside the US I don't think anyone even have heard one product per month which you guys are reviewing. I know those which send you stuff have bourbon in their veins instead of blood but maybe whiskey vault can invest a bit in buying more generic world known whiskeys for review?!
Yeah Shappert is officially a Whiskey Sherpa.. if you hit 100 you need a new title. Dude hiked your collection to Everest levels.

Major brand Mondays?
Mulligan Mondays maybe??
It’s RWF!!! Good Day MB’s!
Well done.
Wants a bottle “just for fun” then pulls out a roughly $200 bottle of scotch…. That’s the life right there🤣
Rex seeing you use your doohickey there reminded me that I should probably put mine back on my keys now that I have to carry my keys again thank you.

Rex missed his opportunity when daniel asked “who do we know that is in brandy”…… for all ignorant viewers, rex’s wife’s name is Brandy…
I was thinking the same thing. Rex is getting soft. May be time to shave his head again to restore his moochie, vulgar powers.
Would have been hilarious 😂
Next Level over Titan @ 100 bottles:
1.) Centurion!
2.) Centaur
Elder god of Whisky
I try to wait to drink the whiskey until the review happens... :)
REVIEWS!!!
100 bro
The end of an era…
Hey Gents... thanks for the review. I am glad you enjoyed them :) Until next time all you MB's.
William…. My friend…. What do you do for a living? Forgive my forwardness, I must know.
@@Natural_Encounters I am a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
That’s awesome! I was just curious, thank you for the quick reply.
TGIRWF...
GOOD MORNING YOU MB'S..... 🥃
Good morning Gentlemen.
"I think that's Emma's motto too" 🤣🔥
SEVEN DEVILS Daniel :)
I just happened to rewatch the Glengoyne review a few days ago when looking up unpeated scotches.
Greasings and lubrications! 🥃🥃🥃
Nice start to the morning! Howdy y'all!
morning all you MB's
Daniel, wonderful use of props during the intro!
A double stuffed deluxe, incredible

There is already an episode coming up with just such tactics... :)
@@Wilvekio69 They should film you doing a "mwhahahaha" and put that in for the trash titan.
Keep mooching Rex, I keep looking for Redbrest
Yay, finally a rare whiskey I have access to!

At a conservative estimate of 60 dollars per donated bottle on average, William has donated 6000 dollars of whiskey 😅
Why don’t you guys have an official rare whiskey Friday explosion clip by now? it would make sense to have one at this point.
The tax write offs are unbelievable!
Tonight I'm drinking Evan Williams bottled in bond

Daniel: 21
Rex: (unimpressed) surrre
I laughed so loud at this 🤣
$200 Scotch, nbd (he says extremely sarcastically)
Duke is an excellent blend, sorry you had a hard time with that fact
I just found a Whiskey in my local store, it's an Iowa distillery, Cedar Ridge, and the band Slipknot has collaborated with them.
Not forgetting all the Lost Distillerery collection is a recreation of closed distillery no more existent whiskies.

yes editors yes!
Is that the official hobbit dance Daniel?

Ralfy said that after adding water, you should let it set a minute for every year of age before drinking it. Is there any truth to that?
i know he's the moocher but does rex ever pick the whisk(e)y?
Bosch Pears are the best
