I don't know why somebody would say they did not learn from your video. This was the first of your videos I have watched and I learned a great deal. I am a college professor and have taught for around 40 years and I can assure you that you are doing a good job. Somebody who can't learn from your videos just can't learn anything from anybody. Good job!
Mate Awesomes post & great shop , amazing stuff & equipment's you have for bait making !! cheers mate ................ Today only i came across your channel and the first glace made me to subscribe your channel, going through your all previous post. I do make timber lures as hobbyist ,& undergoing through learning learning phase. Thanks
Eric that was a awesome lure and I enjoyed the video and for the people that want you to give them recipes they don't under stand when some one comes up with a recipe it is their on. I do soft plastics and I would not give my colors up. That would be like asking for the KFC recipe 🤷♀️
Personally I have learned a ton from your videos they are full of information. As far as color sharing I feel like its up to the maker to come up with their own colors thats the whole point to me is to create my own. Who wants to do a exact copy? Thats boring add your own flair or twist. No need for you to share your countless hours of work for somebody els to mooch off of. Some people just want stuff to be handed to them on a platter and it shows. Put in the work.
Thanks I appreciate that I do have a few colors I don’t mind sharing for some to try out but at the same time I have a bunch I’m not willing to part with
I just came across your channel in the past couple of days, and I can say for myself, that I have learned a lot about how your baits are made. Yes, I follow Chris Jones over at World's Worst Fishing, and he shares a lot. He's the reason why I got into the HOBBY of bait making. Those of us who use TH-cam as a free tool for learning trades that no one around us can teach are spoiled for choice. Before TH-cam, I used to have to attend paid seminars to learn how to tie flies. I had to hope my check got to the event staff before they completely filled up the classroom, then I had to drive hours out to the location at a specified time, on a specific date, to watch someone 20' away wrap wire around a hook the size of your pinkie nail. That being said, people who inherently record themselves doing something that they love, and then uploading that video so others can watch and learn in the comfort of their own home, whenever they want, are truly doing God's work. I came across your channel as I received a Iwata Neo as a Christmas gift, and I was watching patterns being painted. I have done plastisol injection molds enough to recognize some of the colors you make (the Smoke and Moon Juice was instantly replicated by Yours Truly). I have a sales pitch coming up in January to the local Bass Club I used to be a member of (in Pittsburgh PA), and I took some inspiration from your vids, much as I do from TackleWarehouse. The people who aren't learning from your videos, don't know enough to learn from what you are showing. Give them a year or two and they'll come back and apologize, or more likely, have left the hobby because they only know how to replicate what people tell them instead of extrapolating on what's being shown. First tip I have for those individuals, "If the lure is see through, it's a liquid dye. If you can't see through the lure, it's a pearl powder. If it's only reflecting a color when the light is glinting off of it but the lure has no other pigment, it's a hi-light."
Thanks I appreciate that and I’m glad I can help people learn from these videos. I started making these due to when I first started making baits it was very hard to find good information online and on other TH-cam channels.
