Recently I decided to follow a long held dream of making an animated series for TH-cam. They're going to be educational videos on social justice and environmental issues, half hour or so each. I'm still in the research and writing phase. Because time is scarce, I've been stressing about how long it will take to make each episode and whether I'll have time to complete all the episodes I have envisioned in my mind. I have no animating experience so I imagine it will be slow going at first, but even when I gain skill I know that animation is slow work. I'm hoping you can answer a question for me: How many hours of work does it take, on average, to create one minute of animation? (Based on that hours to minute ratio, I'll try to calculate approximately how many years of my life I'll be devoting to this project!) If you could answer this for me I'd be ever so grateful! Thank you! :)
