Ava is the completely over-the-top comedic presence that pulls this entire show together, in my opinion. Doomsday prepare, wannabe cougar, TikTok sensation-she's got it all. Her outrageousness lets the other characters remain grounded and realistic. And Janelle James plays the hell out of her. I love this show so much. It reminds me of "The Office" in that I can see it running for many years and becoming a fan favorite and classic. I'm so glad it's been such a huge hit.

I love everyone's character but Ms Ava hands down is a real trip, her clueless sense of humor is just dope. And her cute infuation with Gregory is too much. Don't change her character at all. Love watching her and her funny lines.

Ava was absolutely inappropriate right from the start with Gregory, and when she said that sticky comment, I immediately thought this was sexual harassment. I’m so glad the show didn’t wait too long to call that out with Gregory’s “ya’ll getting this right?!?” and damn did it had me rolling hard! Lol
