This was great, and still is by a great singer. It's problem, I think, was the production. The song starts as a slow ballad, that gradually builds, all the way through, to a powerful climax. If you watch the performance from the Slovenian song contest final (with Maja in the cobalt blue dress, the wind machines and dancers) it was ten-times better. Though the Eurovision final had the nice visuals with the thrones/flowers in the background, the stage performance and costuming was lacklustre. I think that affected the songs final lowly 13th position. It deserved much higher. It should have been top 5 at a minimum.
The juries rightfully saved this song from a poor placing, ranking it 4th vs the televote's 22nd place, for a combined result of 13th. Thank goodness for the juries.
Why do you think they brought the juries back? To counter block voting and diaspora. Since the juries came back, the quality of songs and the contest's reputation have both risen greatly. So I strongly disagree.
Now that she's with a Swede on the brink of marrying him, imagine her winning Melodifestivalen AND THE CONTEST! I can just imagine the fury in my country.....
There is absolutely nothing wrong with entry from 2022 (LPS - Disco) to not to qualify. Maybe after 2023 the spotlights will be now more on the Slovenia, and it would be easier for them.

2011 will be known for being "the year without a real winner", but, excluding Italy (my country), if I had to decide the real winner of 2011, I would decide Slovenia, because this song is just amazing and it's one of the closest countries to my Italy and I don't want to have long trips for eurovision. In Slovenian it was a cute and beautiful love song. In English it's a savage revenge song. But still underrated. Yeah, any Nordic country would have won with this.

As an azerbaijani I also think that this song deserved first place in 2011. In my opinion the Azerbaijani song was weak. Greetings to Slovenia from Baku🇸🇮🇦🇿. I listen to it from 2011 till our days, 2022.

Criminally underrated song and singer... Mostly because she is from Slovenia, if she would sing for some of Scandinavian countries for example she would be in top 3 for sure

@@theresnogoingbackk Ja sam Portugalska ni mejhna in malo poznana država. Slovenija ne zmaga zato ker ljudje nočjo da zmaga ker nas pozabjo, tud če mamo kvalitetno pesm s prfektnim vokalom. In tud če ne, Elektrika od Nuše je bla sedma, Maja je bla 13, Darja je bla sedma prvič, Maraaja sta bla 17 če se ne motm. kvalitetne pesmi ampak ljudje ne glasujejo.
