I been umrah many times Alhamdulilah, and stayed hilton suites, swissotel makkah and safa hotel best to stay close if you struggle to work this hotel will be difficult for elderly and disabled also for children you have to bare in mind that every day it will get more difficult so for extra pounds do it either in clock tower or safa tower or Hilton tower these are the closest to haram. Praying 5 times in haram gets difficult
The shuttle bus from the train station to the haram stops right outside the hotel. Its bus number 7A and is FREE both ways and comes very often like every 10-15 mins max.

The distance is far, not easy for old n struggling people. It's only for young n able bodied.

It's not like that you will feel it, even elderly people can easily walk, very very slight when you go back from haram to hotel
