- Ocean started pre-K and it’s going mostly well! Lala recounts O’s first few days of school, and how she had to teach her daughter about “weekends.” She also shares some details from her beautiful Baby Monsoon over the weekend. As a teacher, more often than not we are hoping that you will just talk with your kiddo when there’s an incident at school. It’s best if the parents and teachers are a work as team, which it sounds like that’s exactly what you did. Also, it’s so normal for kids to push boundaries the first few days. It sounds like Ocean is super smart, so she’s probably just trying to figure out the rules and what she can or can’t do. I’m sure her teachers still adore her ❤

Ocean will transition into her Bed eventually. Some children just take some time to New transitions and milestones. Baby coming soon will help her feel like a big sister and a big helper for mommy❤

I love you Lala, and as a teacher I was cringing every time you said O would not clean and got away with it. You take the lead. Teach her how to clean up (a learned skill). It’s only going to get worse from here, if you don’t teach her to expect to clean up, 100% of the time. That way, it’s a reward to not have to clean and she learns empathy for those who have cleaning as their job.
Our 9 year old daughter did the same thing at her other house, our house and school. Her other house she doesn't have to clean or do anything. She got it and Ocean will get it over time, just takes time!

Hey y'all! I'm a chef who has worked in child nutrition and I need to share that there are 2 great substitutes for Peanut Butter - tahini (sesame seed paste. A little goes a long way) and sunflower seed butter (also known as Sunbutter. Best flavor and easy to make at home in like 5 minutes).
These are served as substitutes in schools.
Spend all day everyday, bouncing on a big medicine ball!! And baby will go head first! Do it as much as humanly possible. That’s what I did both times & baby’s came out alright head first 👍🏽

There was a homeless clown on the corner in Denver Colorado! Not a homeless man who was acting clown-like. Dressed up as an actual clown. That is not the way! I was terrified and closed my window as fast as humanly possible.
My Nephew is bilingual at 8 years old he goes to a school that speaks only spanish.
Lmfao you have to address the bad behavior at home as well, punishment will always just depend on the crime. Your kid is ALWAYS going to do something that shocks you at school whether it’s good or bad. It doesn’t have to be horrendous but my kid is entering preteen era and he’s putting me through the wringer…teen boys are so hormonal and gross. We had to ground his ass for fighting a couple times I’m like who tf are you?! Throwing right hooks bc someone looked at you crazy? 😭
