I'll clarify what happened... When he "Died", his Ceiling was broken. It was explained, that when someone awakens, they are as strong as they will ever be, NO amount of training will make one stronger. If they have a Second awakening, that is simply a rerolling of the dice for a chance at more power, but even then, they will never get stronger than what they are upon reawakening. Sung however, no longer has a ceiling and CAN get stronger by training.
so I will say the Instance Dungeon that he went into is different from the normal gates, that's why one had enemies with bars, it was made by whatever his powers are.
Shortly told this isn't a game itself, but Hunter Sung have gotten powers, that's visualizing some stuff you'll often experience from a game. This power is kind of the Ultimate Power, because he will be able to surpass the limits of any Hunters alive. He's actually able to level up for eternity from now on. As told in some comment beneath; when a Hunter is getting awakened, the Hunter wont be able to rise their ranks, even if they train their body and techniques, they'll always stay at the same rank. A re-awakening is kind of the same concept, but still it's not fully the same, since the re-awakening is making the specific Hunter, able to surpass their original rank. Im sure you'll be able to understand this in the future seasons we'll see. Season 1 is ending at the 45th Chapter of the Manhwa, and the Manhwa itself has exact 200 Chapters, so I think their'll be a few more seasons to expect. 2nd season is already expected to release lately in 2024, so promise us watching you, to make more reactions, when the time comes.
