Cloned Buffalo Calf 'Tejas' (E)

The National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal is a premier research organization under the aegis of Indian Council of Agricultural Research or ICAR. The Institute is a pioneer in cloning technology and makes consistent efforts to produce a better breed of cattle in the country. Recently, the institute has developed a buffalo-calf named ‘Tejas’ using the hand guided cloning technology.
