Its very rare to see a person first time playing genshin actually paying attention to tutorials, cutscenes and being optimistic. It feels very nostalgic, thank you!
It's like that with a lot of popular games , u seriously have to ignore that side of the "community " , cuz they run their mouths the most but have the least substance or actual intellect. They just seek attention , and most of them are just miserable /terrible people. So ya, don't associate with those people constantly complaining and always obsessed about the "meta" , they usually don't know what the fuck they are talking about but they always gotta run their mouth

Welcome to Genshin! As a casual player, you have so much to look forward to. Early gamers had just two countries to explore but you have a whopping four! It's awesome! You mentioned how the graphics are amazing - they get better, the further you traverse through the game! Personal highlights include The Chasm, Chenyu Vale, all of Inazuma, Vanarama, Annapausis and more that you'll see very far into the game icl. The three that you're given during the Monstadt quests are fine enough but there's a lot more fun to be had with literally anyone else, if you'd ask me. "How do you get more characters, anyway," I hear you ask! Wishes You just unlocked them. You're supposed to spend the primogems you have to unlock these characters. There are actually 5 different regions in Genshin. 1st, we have Monstadt (Anemo). 2nd, Liyue (Geo). 3rd Sumeru (dendro). 4th Inazmuma (electro). 5th Fontaine (hydro). I hadn't played since 2020 and just picked it back up a week ago after getting my steam deck old. I totally forgot the story but it was refreshing to see it from the beginning through your video, thanks!
Welcome to the world of Teyvat!! I’ve played this game since release and it’s grown to become one of my favourite games ever. The story and lore gets so much more interesting and immersive when progressing through the seven nations. The characters and story telling is definitely my favourite thing about this game as well as the open world exploration of beautiful and unique landscapes. Excited to if u continue on with ur Genshin journey !!

i’ve been missing that giddiness and excitement that comes with playing genshin impact for the first time, and even more so because we have a similar playing style (appreciating the graphics, the lore, and the music; taking in the environment and the world; just chilling and enjoying). thanks for the nostalgia! i hope you continue playing this until you can catch up to the current events. you’ve earned a subscriber! 💗💗💗

This was a nice vid to watch. I've seen Genshin Impact literally everywhere, especially fan content like popular ships, fan art, ads and such but I never knew anything about it until literally TODAY. I've been lookin' for a new fandom to get into and decided to get into this year, I also wish to play the game someday and hopefully make a video of my experience without spoiling too much for myself in the meantime! Until then I guess!
Make sure to NEVER spend money on genshin gurl!! Bc it's not worth!! It'll make it harder for you to quit the game too, cause if you've been keeping up with how toxic and unfair mihoyo/hoyoverse can be, you'll regret spending your hard earned money on their games. So pls pls pls don't spend any money on genshin impact Queen!!
Hey Maima, can't remember if you're streaming or not today or this weekend but if so I won't be able to be present for that because of work. I know dizzy and chica will hold it down tho, they always do 😂❤😊
Omg this just popped up in my recommendations and thank God I clicked it! I can't wait to watch your genshin journey and I will definitely be tuning in for the next parts
I'm happy to see, that someone starts playing Genshin too. I started playing like one week and a half ago, and I thought I'm thd only one who didn't play until now.
It’s crazy man I just started Genshin impact almost 6 months ago back in the end of September 2023, after I got the platinum trophy, armored 6 fires of Rubicon first of all I had no idea how to play this game but I got used to it as I got better overtime during the first three months when I first started playing the game now it’s February 2024 I managed to get my kaeya at level 90 and I’m still trying to farm talents for my first team of characters xiangling Lynette and Noelle I would recommend you would talent farm first before upgrading or in this case ascending your characters because I recommend talent farming because I made the mistake that the more I leveled up the enemies I became bullet spongy and I realize that talent farming is important because you will deal a lot lots of damage try not to farm for boss materials. I recommend doing talent materials first.
just wait until you get to fontaine and inazuma, they're my personal favorites! and here are a few pro tips: dont spend your primogems(star looking things) on the standard banner, collect(basically) ANYTHING shiny, and your worst enemies are Qiqi, Jean, Diluc, Keqing, and Mona. Have fun playing Genshin!
OMG! I WAS LITERALLY WONDERING IF YOU WILL PLAY IT FOR SOME TIME! ❤ (for me it's one of the BEST games I ever played and I'm also a new player. I stated playing 1 month ago) Trust me, game starts to get even better and better after some time. Hope that this will be a new series on your channel cuz I'll DEFINETLY will watch EVERY SINGLE ONE episode from you. ❤
I really loved this video i remember when i first played i struggled so much whit the quest its so fun to see you play genshin you earned yourself s new sub
Welcome to the community!!!!, So happy someone joinned, my birthday was just yesterday and i threw a genshin birthday party just because i love the game that much, im also planning to throw another one next year
It’s cool to see new players enjoy the game. Kind of nostalgic and cathartic at same time. Lol. You got old school gamer vibes “pick up everything that sparkles”. One of best things I did when I first started playing.
*gasp*😮 WELCOME TO GENSHIN!🎉👏👏👏 Hope you have a great adventure. It has loads of fun, mysteries and LORE! If they are questions related to the story or something else, I am happy to help😊
when you said mondstadt was humongous haha! there's so much ahead for you, have fun!!!! mondstadt is so nostalgic, its theme still stays as one of my favorite genshin music.
Started playing Genshin Impact a year ago, but still a newbie. STill seeing someone playing it for the first time give me goosebumps! Nostalgia hits different! Had the same reaction whenever I discover something.
i don’t usually watch someone played genshin but your energy is making me stay omg, i’m looking forward to see who your fav character will be and what will be your reaction when you met my fav
Tip 1: Press the battle button down like your E skill so it can be a charged attack, charged attacks need a certain amount of stamina since they do increased damage to enemies. Tip 2: Cook food for every boss fight or hard fight, the food helps alot. Food serves as both potions, revives, and buffs in Genshin Impact, and an important gameplay mechanic. You can eat food at any time (including mid-battle), but your characters can only eat restorative food a few times before they become "full", so you cannot spam too much food on your characters. Food items are Consumables that can be crafted with Cooking. When used, they can heal characters, revive characters, buff the player's character, or even buff the entire party. Tip 3: Be cautious of enemies that are higher levels than you unless you have good artifacts selected. Artifacts are equipable items that give individual characters an increase to one specific attribute and up to four bonus attributes. These can include an increase in health, defense, attack, or other attributes, either in a base number increase or a percentage increase. Its best to search up what characters signature artifacts are. Off of tips, onto randoms, random 1: Some of the enemies that require special elemental effects include the Hilichurls with shields, which become much easier if you burn their Dendro shields with Pyro attacks, or the Geo slimes, which lose their strong defenses if you shatter them with a heavy attack, among others. Random 2: Catalysts and bows work best at long-range, claymores and polearms are well-suited to mid-range, and swords are ideal for close-range fights. Each weapon has a rapid attack pattern, which can be used by repeatedly pressing the attack button, as well as charged attacks. Random 3: Genshin Impact only offers four unlockable characters in the game. The four unlockable characters: Traveller (the main character), Kaeya, Amber, and Lisa are unlocked after completing their story missions during the early chapters of Genshin Impact. The rest of the playable characters, including rare five-star ones, can either be unlocked through the gacha "Wish" system in the game or by completing occasional game events. Each character is assigned their elemental powers, which helps them in battle. However, Traveler can wield three different elemental powers as players progress further into Genshin. Random 4: To unlock a new area in Teyvat's map, Genshin instructs players to pray in front of the Statues of Sevens, which are spread throughout each area. However, these statues do more than unveil new areas. Each Statue of Seven is equipped with powers that heal characters in Genshin Impact. To utilize this power, players need to take their low HP characters and stand in front of the statue until it heals them. The rate at which the statues heal can also be adjusted to suit the players. They can either choose to heal fully or reduce the rate to 50/75 percent. Random 5: The gacha aspect of Genshin Impact requires players to roll for new characters using the Japanese gacha system. To acquire new and stronger characters, players have to wish on that particular characters' banner using primogems and bet their luck on winning a five-star one. Genshin's gacha system has a soft-pity and hard-pity players need to look out for. Soft-pity is usually triggered for players on their 75th wish and hard-pity usually on the 90th. This ensures players get a five-star character or weapon after spending tons of wishes. Random 6: If you are looking for ways to strengthen your characters in Genshin Impact, your main focus should be the character's talents. Leveling up talents increases the primary and secondary attack of the character and makes them stronger in the long run. Though talents are unlocked by certain ascension levels. Bosses like Hypostasis, Regisvine, and domains usually have items that are needed to level up a particular character. However, it's best to focus on one character rather than leveling up every single one of them. Talents can also be leveled up using constellations unlocked through rolling the same character in the wishes. Random 7: Seelies are little ghost-like creatures found floating in areas like Mondstadt and Liyue in Genshin Impact. According to their lore, they are souls from the past waiting for people to guide them to their resting places. To be rewarded with a treasure chest, players can approach a Seelie and guide them to their resting statues. Seelies can also help players during missions involving puzzles and order-based missions. Different kinds of Seelies are found throughout Teyvat, including those in Liyue and Mondstadt, the warm Seelies in Dragonspine, and the electro Seelies in Inazuma. Random 8: Another sure-shot way of ensuring a high DPS (damage per second) character is to level up the artifacts assigned to those characters. Artifacts leveled up as high as Level 20 can offer extra HP, crit damage boost, and even defense. Artifacts also range from one star to five stars, and five-star artifacts are usually available in domains after reaching Adventure Rank 45. A combination of the same type of artifacts like the Nobless Oblige or the Travelling Doctor set guarantees extra heal buffs as well. Random 9: New players might want to speed run Genshin Impact and unlock every inch of Teyvat's map as fast as possible. However, the game cleverly prevents them from doing so. New areas can only be unlocked with story progressions. Players usually start at Mondstadt and work their way through Liyue, and then onto Inazuma. If any player tries to travel to an area or swim through the waters to reach Inazuma before its story arc, they're either zapped by lightning or forced to teleport to any nearby unlocked location. You have to be AR(Adventure Rank) 30 to reach Inazuma. Random 10: The more you level up, the more EXP you need to reach the next AR. In other words, it gets harder to level up. Random 11: Genshin Impact presents quite the challenge to players with every increasing AR(adventure Rank.) The higher the AR, the tougher the opponents. This often overwhelms new players and puts them off the game. One of the best and easiest ways to beat these tough opponents is to ask for help. Players with higher AR's often visit the lower-level players' worlds. As a result, they're usually willing to test out their massive damage rates on bosses, giving low-level players a better chance to boost and rank up. Random 12: Collecting food items and cooking special dishes is another way of leveling up quicker in Genshin Impact. These food items often come with buffs like restoring HP, increasing stamina, increasing defense, and increasing the critical damage rate of a character. Food recipes can be collected and bought throughout Teyvat, although their ingredients might be region-locked. Consuming food items increases the chance of winning tough boss battles. Players should also consider not spending Mora on buying ready-made food, but making the items themselves. Random 13: Each character in Genshin Impact is assigned special elemental magic for them to use. And as players often find it hard to beat certain enemies or bosses in the game, this is where the use of elements comes into play. For example, if a player was to defeat a pyro abyss mage (abyss mage with fire powers) it's best to use a character with hydro powers (e.g. Barbara) and then use cryo (e.g. Kaeya) to finish them off. Water reacts with the abyss mage's fire and causes melting before cryo freezes the enemy. Pronunciations: Hilichurl is pronounced as H-i-lee-ch-url. Seele is pronounced as See-lee. Abyss mage is pronounced as Ab-iss may-ge. Liyue is pronounced as Lee-you-ay. Inazuma is pronounced as Ee-na-zoo-mah. Sumeru is pronounced as S-oo-mer-oo. Fontaine is pronounced as Fon-tay-n. Nations(Monstadt:) Monstadt is the city of freedom that lies in the northeast of Teyvat. From amongst mountains and wide-open plains, carefree breezes carry the scent of dandelions, a gift from the Anemo God, Barbatos, across Cider Lake to Mondstadt, which sits on an island in the middle of the lake. As mentioned, their God is Barbatos, also known as Venti, the God of Anemo and Freedom. Nations(Liyue:) Liyue is a harbor city surrounded by mountains on three sides. Beyond the mountains inland, there are vast foothills, plains, fords, and abundant mines full of precious ores. These ores are harvested and made into exquisite crafts at the hands of skilled craftsmen. Their God is Morax, also known as Zhongli, the God of Geo and Contracts. Nations(Sumeru:) Sumeru is one of the seven regions of Teyvat. It is the nation that worships Lesser Lord Kusanali, the Dendro Archon and God of Wisdom. It is renowned as Teyvat's center of learning for housing the Sumeru Akademiya. Archon Quest Chapter III takes place in Sumeru. Lesser Lord Kusanali is also known as Nahida, she may also be referred to as a Goddess. Nations(Inazuma:) Inazuma is an archipelagic region that worships Raiden Shogun, the Electro Archon and God of Eternity, who is also the leader of its governing body, the Inazuma Shogunate. Inazuma is located approximately 4 km southeast from Liyue Harbor and closely neighbors the Dark Sea. The Raiden Shogun is a puppet, the Raiden Shogun is the daughter, or creation, of the original body, the original body is named Ei. She may also be referred to as a Goddess. Nations(Fontaine:) Fontaine is the fourth region of Teyvat that the Traveler must go through on their journey across the world's seven nations. Located west of Liyue and northwest of Sumeru, Fontaine is the domain of the Hydro Archon Focalors(or Furina) and is also known as the 'Nation of Justice'. I really hope you can continue your Genshin journey because a new nation is coming out soon, its called Natlan!
I've never heard of you before, but i've been playing Genshin since it came out. Your comentary is hilarious! Lol love it! Sounds like you're enjoying the game. Good times!
I recently also got into Gershwin as well!! I always heard people talking about it so i finally decided to check it out. I ended up picking aether(the guy twin) as my main character so I’m interested to see Lumine(the girl twin) in your gameplay!! Also I didn’t realize just how open worldly genshin was until I started playing it.
Biggest advice I can give you for playing this game is don't invest too much time in to it.. After a while it becomes very repetitive and even tho you are in a new place it doesn't feel any different just some minor color changes, few new interactions and that's it. Don't get addicted in wishing for new characters unless you really really want them (90% of the game can be done with just starting characters if built corectly). When leveling up characters never level them up completely always leave 1-2 maybe even 3 lvl of freedom beacuse you have a lot of xp to earn in the game and resources are somewhat limited. Save everything as much as possible until you reach AR 45. Happy gaming :)
Welcome to the Genshin impact community, I hope you enjoy the progress and the overall experience, Most importantly i love the art style and lore.. The only reason i am still by this game’s side even when i lost my account
I've been trying to consider whether or not I want to start a game from Hoyoverse as I am a newbie gamer and this is such a great first impressions video! Thanks for the great content!
been debating on whether or not to get/start this game and watching you has made up my mind!! the graphics are so beautiful, cant wait to watch more of your content ☺️
You playing Genshin for the first time is so wholesome! The world of genshin is very beautiful and i hope you will enjoy the game. I look forward to seeing your journey across teyvat if you decide to upload parts of the game.🤩🥳💯
Interesting how your ping went from ~400ms to 30ms ^^ 13:00 Have fun playing and take all the time you need. It has 3.5 years of regular updates behind it, so there is a lot to explore.
Wishing is how the game gets money, using the mail you get at the start of the game you should use it on the noelle banner, and pink wishes goes to limited characters you can spend money to get the currency required to wish, but its not mandatory

As a person who’s been playing Genshin for a while It’s fun to see new players enjoying the game!
40:30 Parentheses usually mean they’re thinking not talking
OMG What great video... The Slime killing you during the shot is Hilarious😆😆😆😆cant wait for your next episode. Hope you enjoy your genshin journey
You absolutely should play more I started playing two years ago and it’s such a beautiful game I’m basically reliving it!!!
Same! I started 2 years ago too 🥹🩷
Make sure to NEVER spend money on genshin gurl!!
Fr, it's like wasting money on a virtural currency like robux. Why waste money on needs and luxury lifestyles?
Hey Maima, can't remember if you're streaming or not today or this weekend but if so I won't be able to be present for that because of work. I know dizzy and chica will hold it down tho, they always do 😂❤😊
All good!!🫶🏼
We have superpowers. We can fly.
Me - trying to jump 2m so I could reach colus
Omg this just popped up in my recommendations and thank God I clicked it! I can't wait to watch your genshin journey and I will definitely be tuning in for the next parts
Genshin is so fun! I’m glad you like it
I'm happy to see, that someone starts playing Genshin too. I started playing like one week and a half ago, and I thought I'm thd only one who didn't play until now.
i just came here to witness the beginning of an awesome series and i am here to stay
glad you like it!!!
Goodluck and welcome to the family. Have fun
12:22 this made me giggle, she’s unintentionallh catching on this early 😭

HER PERSONALITY IS SO ICONICCCC
Yess super glad u liked it! I was going to ask you again hehehe
FINALYYY YAYYY IM GLAD U PLAYED IT
Omg you had me rolling 😂. It was so fun watching you play. Enjoy the 620 hours of game play you have coming.
just wait until you get to fontaine and inazuma, they're my personal favorites! and here are a few pro tips: dont spend your primogems(star looking things) on the standard banner, collect(basically) ANYTHING shiny, and your worst enemies are Qiqi, Jean, Diluc, Keqing, and Mona.
i’m glad your already enjoying it!!🥹💓

Welcome to the community!!!!, So happy someone joinned, my birthday was just yesterday and i threw a genshin birthday party just because i love the game that much, im also planning to throw another one next year
Getting attacked by the hydro slime while talking to Amber got a good chuckle out of me. 😊
It’s cool to see new players enjoy the game. Kind of nostalgic and cathartic at same time. Lol. You got old school gamer vibes “pick up everything that sparkles”. One of best things I did when I first started playing.
*gasp*😮 WELCOME TO GENSHIN!🎉👏👏👏
Hope you have a great adventure. It has loads of fun, mysteries and LORE!
If they are questions related to the story or something else, I am happy to help😊
as a genshin impact player, its amazing to see new people joining
when you said mondstadt was humongous haha! there's so much ahead for you, have fun!!!! mondstadt is so nostalgic, its theme still stays as one of my favorite genshin music.
Started playing Genshin Impact a year ago, but still a newbie. STill seeing someone playing it for the first time give me goosebumps! Nostalgia hits different! Had the same reaction whenever I discover something.
As someone who just started last year, I'm excited to see you progress in the game. I hope your genshin journey will be an awesome journey! ❤
I love seeing new players join, welcome! Hope you’re having fun ☺
IM SO HAPPY TO SEE ONE OF MY FAVORITE TH-camRS PLAY GENSHIN IMPACT, I ALSO PLAY GENSHIN :3
i don’t usually watch someone played genshin but your energy is making me stay omg, i’m looking forward to see who your fav character will be and what will be your reaction when you met my fav
Other than failing the first task (always say Paimon is emergency food...always), you did a fine job. A lot of new players accidentally drown.
Yes finally!!!!!

Also I didn’t realize just how open worldly genshin was until I started playing it.

Im so happy Envami's playing this it made my day 😄!
this video is so cute and you’re actually so funny 😂

Have fun playing and take all the time you need. It has 3.5 years of regular updates behind it, so there is a lot to explore.
Wishing is how the game gets money, using the mail you get at the start of the game you should use it on the noelle banner, and pink wishes goes to limited characters you can spend money to get the currency required to wish, but its not mandatory
