Another great episode. The prospector also played in The Hayburner and The Legacy (“Pete’s my name!”). I agree about the Rosemary story…seemed forced into the episode. Maybe they had do some filler. And, like you, I thought they left her story hanging. I hadn’t thought that maybe they intended to continue her story in later episodes, but abandoned the idea. But the jewel of the episode is Hop Sing. I always love it when he rants. 😄
Yes I love those two episodes and his performance in them! I feel like maybe they had a plan kind of like in Sam Hill when they were gonna do a spinoff. Maybe Rosemary was supposed to go on to do her own thing? I guess we'll never know. Hop Sing steals the show every time! Thanks for the comment as always!
I have been pleasantly surprised so far with just how much I enjoy the comedy episodes of Bonanza. Michael Landon in particular makes me laugh.
