THIS IS AMAZING! I was looking at my 56 questioned homework with a dumbfounded look and now it is complete. Thanks for taking the time to create this video! .. I don't normally comment under videos, but I had to thank you!

Best rule explanation on YT, clear and easy to spot similarities in-between the rules. awesome video.

For the sake of high scholl and undergraduate chemistry, basically yes.
There ARE insoluble Na (or any other cation) compounds, but they're usually beyond the scope of basic chemistry.

i try to find another way but there is no escape u have to memorize it, be smart by just remembering some rules like the alkali rule, i start to study it now it's not impossible to do but u need more than one time study to memorize it, chem is the same overall u literally memorize almost everything so it's not something unfamilar anyway

    • @asthapatel8765

I dont agree with you cus there must be some way to indicate it rather then just memorizing it

Quick question: there's any specific reason why these rules are like such (lattice energy for example)?

Do you have any videos explaining the coulombic equations, (perhaps their derivation) that describe the potential energy of the interaction between the Dipole-Dipole, Dipole-Induced Dipole, London-Dispersion and Hydrogen Bonds attractions?
Example for Dipole-Dipole, E=−2μAμB/4πϵor^3..... and the others like that?
That would be amazing if you did!
