    Tengo una Honda cb750 rc42 del año 2001, y este video hace que mi aprecio a esa moto se incremente. Hermosas maquinas!

    No mater what people say there should be no cast wheels, plastics, monoshocks or fat tires on any cafe racers. Doesnt look period correct. I

      You're probably right but in the last years the cafe racer scene changed and it for sure no longer look the same but is in my opinion cool as well... I personally like both, classic and custom and I don't mind mixing both styles 😉

      @@brucesmotorcycleshop3729 thought german was your native language!? I'm interested in your swingarm and fork/front parts. From which bike are the parts? I built a more classic sc01 ala hookie, but have nearly 2 more sc01 in parts to built a second one but more "modern" style like yours.

      @@tom_hptng Hi, I'm actually French 😅 I live in Germany since a while so I can speak German but writing takes me much longer than writing English... The front end in my bike is from a Yamaha R1 Rn09 and swingarm is from a Yamaha Fazer Rn06 but I would not recommend using this swingarm as it's too long, I have an XJR 1300 swingarm at my shop and I'm considering swapping at some stage as it is 30mm shorter and will rectify the long wheelbase. However there is quite a few options out there, everything will require some mods so just pic what you can find and what you like and work with it. There is some CB900 FB pages where you can get some inspiration 😊 hope this helped. Good luck with your projects.

    How long are the rear suspension shock?

      Hi man, on the Sevenfifty they are stock shocks and on the bol d'or 365mm and could be adjusted 10mm longer. Hope that helps 😉

    Hey idk if you're still active or not, but how does the CB900 cafe racer handle? I've heard it's a very, very, very poor choice for a cafe racer... but if I already own one isn't it worth converting?? I think some people are dramatic.

    • @brucesmotorcycleshop3729
      @brucesmotorcycleshop3729  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, I think it handles the way you want it to handle... If you keep the stock suspensions stock then yes it might probably handle like crap but if you work on then or swap them and take care of the geometry of your bike it's all good! Personally my swingarm is too long and I'm planning on changing it at some stage but even with a longer wheelbase the bike drives fabulously good 😊 I don't think you would see so many custom CBs if they would be this much of a bad choice. Don't listen to people, do what you like and enjoy it 😉

    I really love the bike!!! But what swingarm did you swapped out with?

    • @brucesmotorcycleshop3729
      @brucesmotorcycleshop3729  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thx for your comment, the swingarm is from a yamaha Fazer. It's unfortunately 30mm too long so I'll be swapping it for an XJR1300 swingarm at some stage. 😉

    What rear swing arm did u use on your bike and how hard was it to convert to the street bike style

    • @brucesmotorcycleshop3729
      @brucesmotorcycleshop3729  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, if you're talking about the CB900 the swingarm comes from a yamaha Fazer 1000. The problem with it is that it's a little bit too long so I'm planning on changing it for an XJR 1300 swingarm one day that's about 30mm shorter. To mount it you have to modify the swingarm quite a bit, grind down the back of the engine case and get an offset sprocket for the chaine.

      Actually, no. It doesn't lol 😂
      It sure looked like it did at the begging when you were outside the workshop hehe... 😁
      I'm very seriously considering buying one of these, it's an '82 CB900F2 BOL D' OR that's been extensively modified - CBR 1000RR front end & brakes, CBR 600RR rear end, built motor etc etc and yesssssss FLAT SLIDES!! 😂
      It's almost a pity that it's finished as I do love the build... Oh well, maybe I could customise it further to make it "mine" lol.
      I'm new to your channel and I must say I like the 2 videos I've watched (your 900 with the rear brake issue was the first one) so I'm going to subscribe! 😊
      For me it's a toss up between either CB900F2 or CB750, both Café style... 🤔
      Cheers man & I look forward to more riding and modifying vids of that BOL D'OR my man! 🤘🏼 😜
