- this is not necessarily a guide to how I tune because like I said in the video, it's alot of trial and error
it's more of an explanation, in the best way I can explain it, of what each individual section of tuning does
keep in mind I'm not the best tuner out there nor do I know everything there is to know about cars or their parts but this is the best way Im able to explain things

Finally, a video where someone explains all this stuff, instead of just showing what their tune setup is! I was trying to figure out how to tune the gears by looking at charts online, but they're too confusing. The way you explained it was so much easier to understand. I've been setting my launch control at 7,000rpm because that's where the peak torque is on the dyno, so it made sense to me to launch from there, but I noticed that most people in these videos don't use the launch control. I have some cars at 6,000-6,500rpm to try and get more time off the line before it redlines, but I haven't been able to get the times that others are getting. I'll try turning off the launch control, and see if that helps. Thanks again for your detailed video, brother!

Lmao think the reason alot of us run bars is because we didn't run them at all pre 1.2.3 so it's a nice change.
Bro thank you on this video because when I was tuning my car it would only go to the 4 on the meter thing and 3 when I did launch but to your video it goes to the max speed it should
Use the Dyno to adjust the fuel and timing settings. After each Dyno run adjust the fuel and timing settings up or down until all of the settings are inline with the line on the Dyno chart.

In what exact order do u usually tune your cars. I mean like tires first then gearing second? And how do u usually pick rear tire size? I see some using 35s on rear.
I always do all my upgrades first, normally I use 31 21s on all my tunes with only a few exceptions, mostly 35s are only used on irocs and useful. Your tire size is gonna affect your transmission ratios tho, that's why I always pick a tire size first then tune everything else around that tire
I like to use a small tire car. 10.5 slicks to be specific. I do the 1/4 in about 6.1 on average. I can't never get better than a 1.08 60' time any ideas? It is a nitrous motor.
Sorry to bother again but i am running consistent 5.7s after tuning suspension. Do you think i should start fine tuning gearing yet or keep working on suspension until i get to a lower time? I notice my 60’ is kind of slow. .890 on average for 60’. Any advice on these two things would be appreciated. Thanks again.
If your car feels like it's not sluggish or anything going down the line your suspension should be fine, go try a bit on your transmission some and see if you can bring the time down some, u may have to go back and forth between suspension and trans tuning a bit to fine tune it

A good thing to do is make at least 3 runs for each adjustment and write down on paper.

At what point do you know when your gearing is right so you can move on to suspension? Is it when you reach the low 5.8s? Thanks again.
I normally do suspension first and then I fine tune my gears until I get around a 5.72, then I'll start adjusting one gear up or down by 1 until it pulls into the 5.71s or 5.70s then I'll do quite a few runs trying to pin point which individual gear is too long or too short

It's a bit different with 10.5 on some vehicles depending on the base height

More than likely ur weight is too far forward or ur first gear needs to be adjusted, could also be ur wheelie bar is too low

May be ur computer under upgrades. Upgrade everything under your computer options
