That place seems really good. The game market in the US is absolutely nuts. My local stores have either nothing because everyone picks through it or games priced so high that nobody buys them.
Oh, really? I thought US market is the best for shops like this. I'm always looking at other youtubers who do this and think they have so many places to go to. In Romania at the moment this is the only shop like this. There are others but without the gaming part
@@TheTechUnravel It's kind of complicated. If you go to specific video game stores, everything is usually really expensive and either the same price as eBay or higher. Sure they have everything you could want, but you're going to pay. Just a simple 2DS like you bought will cost double what you paid for. When you go to other thrift shops, flea markets, pawn shops, or other second hand stores, you basically have to get lucky. Everything is usually picked through and you're usually left with sports games or games nobody wants. Even at garage sales, if somebody advertises online that they have video games, people will literally get there 2-3 hours early and wait just to get a deal. A LOT of TH-camrs glorify stores and hunts, for every store they find a good deal, there's another 5-10 they bought nothing at. It's really bad.
@@MilkWasABadChoice17 Oh, wow. Never thought about it this way. I was always jealous of the many options you got in US. But you also have so many buyers as well. Over here there aren't that many and even though you are limited, you still can get pretty good deals, especially in flee markets. I go there often and managed to find some great deals. Garage sales are not that common though
@@TheTechUnravel It sounds like how things were over here 10-15 years ago. When I used to go to a flea market back then, I would walk out with bags of stuff, today I'll be lucky if I get one or two things. You used to find deals everywhere. With all the TH-cam and social media stuff on older games, along with eBay/Mercari/Facebook Marketplace accessibility, it caused demand to skyrocket so everyone is looking for gold or think they have gold and ask for a lot. It's not that fun anymore.
Considering the limited places where I buy stuff, I do think I managed to find some pretty good deals. But there are times I just can't find anything and I leave empty handed. So I should take advantage while I still find good deals. I'm quite happy with how my collection is going so far. I want to feature all of them here on the channel
Pretty cool video! Love going to places like this! Sadly there aren't many in my local area the only one I can think of is CEX which can be expensive at times but at least the products come with a 2 year warrenty
This is the only store like this that I could find in Romania. I would love to go to more of them. There are flee markets but no dedicated stores. It's still good you have CEX. I visited one in Spain but indeed, prices were not that great
Unfortunately not too many Vita or. Gamecube games. On their website there were a couple of Vita ones but only 2 Gamecube. Apparently they are not that common in Romania
yo you could off gotten ghost of sparta withthe other psp game in the orgin collection or the trilogy collection one collection has the psp games as disc one the trilogy has them as digital . oh i see your incresing your handheld collection also pawn shop collecting for games is not bad especialy for ps2 or game cube my in florida i got a game cube for 60$ silver one open in box tthe guy did not have the box and the matching controller he gave me a memory card for free . few games i got for decent price 40 or 30 for some i got smahs bro metal gear solid twin snakes and i got metroid 1 2
That a good point with GOW. To be honest, collecting games is just on the side, for me. But the ones I really enjoyed and I can find them for cheap, then I buy them. I do want to have at least a game per console. For now I'm releasing videos for my handheld collection but I'm also collecting "regular" systems. I also gut a black Gamecube with a matching controller for $40. It also had a Harry Potter game inside. I'm enjoying collecting them so much and I'll release videos for all of them so stick around.
What do you think about this type of videos? Do you want more like this? Let me know in the comments.
@DirectTech Thank you, mate! I appreciate it

I'm setting over here looking through the shelves for PS Vita Games. 🤣

În what City îs this?
This is in Bucharest but they have stores in Cluj and Timisoara as well
Daaamn so expesnive. A ps4 is 50 bucks in germany, xbox one is 40
PS4s are still at the same price they were before PS5. Really thought they will go down in time. Other prices are quite good though
Getting a discount on already discounted prices is so cringe
I’m so sorry, I didn’t know. Next time I’ll just refuse the discount. We can’t be cringe, that’s for sure
