Hey Danny, nice guide on pvp tips and CCs to optimize combos for maximum damage. But specifc to reset combos for certain classes which have ways to extend the CC (other than downsmashes), eg. Zerker e-grab+undertaker, Succ Striker, Awk Hash combos to re-cc at the end of certain combos. Any idea how those CC extenders work? Like bypassing the CC Limit?
So the reason the reset combos work is essentially the CC immune timer after you have been cc'd does NOT start ticking when you stand up, it starts as soon as you have been cc'd the second time. Meaning a 5 second cc immunity turns into a 2 second immunity because if you have been Knocked down, thats a 3 second cc. So Zerker E grab actually applies a PVE bound to the player that bypasses cc immunity meaning you can essentially make them stay on the ground for the WHOLE 5 seconds they are cc immune then just restart the combo again when that time is up. For striker and hash, I just assume that they do multiple down smashes, meaning they TOO skip that last two seconds by extending the combo while you are still cc as Down smashes ignore CC immunity.
