Simply stunning Joseph! Landed here after researching information for the Mamiya 645. I currently shot with a Nikon Z7 and Fuji X-T3 and currently edit both cameras raw files using Capture One. I hope you don’t mind me asking, I was wondering about the software, if any, you use with your Mamiya scans? Many thanks

Wow thanks. No I make prints and then scan those with a crappy scanner if I want to share. I can’t be dealing with neg scan dust. I’m getting more and more into analogue photography :)

Thank you for your videos... Your clear well informed information is appreciated... I am about to pick up a P65+ and df body... and I have a question you might be able to help me out with... do these old backs suffer from hot pixels? And is there a pixel mapping function to resolve this issue? Do the raw files open in Adobe Raw?
Thanks for your help... I hope you are able to keep uploading... I enjoy your calm, straight forward presentation style... just subscribed... take care and stay safe...

You are very kind. By hot pixels, you mean from long exposures? I haven’t been able to use it for that in a long time but don’t recall any problems. All these backs are different in one respect or another. Do note that this back takes a dark frame, which will double the exposure time.
I don’t use Adobe anything - I refute the subscription model of pricing, I instead use and recommend Capture One and Affinity.
      Enjoy your new camera!
