Why You Shouldn't Install Rexine Floor Mats In Your Car

- Installing Rexine/PVC/Leather Floor matting in your car is nothing but stupidity.
These kind of stuff is OK if used in houses, apartments, etc but for cars, it's a BIG NO! Cars aren't made of cement and bricks, they're more prone to rust, and installing these kinds of waterproof mats are planning of disaster, nothing much!
Rexine floor matting is acceptable if you consider washing your car thoroughly by removing the floor mats after every 3-4(+-) months Otherwise if you're planning to just install it and forget! It'll give you a real tough time.

Very informative video👍 Let me know is it safe to install 7d mats in my car because event they just have removable grass mats and most of them times my floor will be covered by mats which i won't remove so will that also risk accumulation of rust ? If yes can I use grass noodle anti skid mats also as an option ? Am very interested in 7d mats as it gives luxury look inside but am worried about rust and moisture accumulation as pointed out by you. Let me know what things i need to take care off in case i opt for 7d mats ??
2. Also can you advise whether should i go for bucket fit seat cover or normal ones and which kind of seat cover is best for summers in Rajasthan India climate ?

Whatever option you're going for either its 7D or grass mats, always consider periodic cleaning/checking because your car isn't water proof and if you're using anything that can entrap moisture, time to time checkup is mandatory.
Normal/factory carpets are preferred because they'll let any moisture go away and any water appear at the first place otherwise just keep an eye and enjoy.
Secondly, sorry I don't have any experience regarding seat covers, but as I'm considering a very hot climate there so breathable seat covers meanwhile not rexine must be taken in consideration.

Yes you're right, but this isn't what I conveyed in my video.
In short, as you're saying rexin won't let the water go under it, so definitely it will not allow the already collected water under it to dry out or to show any symptom of wetness (that can be collected by many reasons: described in video) and effected area will rust out ultimately.
