Doce Presença is het nieuwste album van Josee Koning, geproduceerd door viervoudig Grammy-winnaar Ivan Lins.
Het is opgenomen in Lissabon, met de Portugese band van Ivan. Op het album staan twaalf stukken, waaronder twee duetten van Josee en Ivan:
Plus fort que nous is een romantisch duet uit de Franse filmklassieker Un homme et une femme; bonustrack Doce Presença is een unieke live-opname van een duet dat Josee en Ivan zongen tijdens een concert in 2006 in Josee’s woonplaats Haarlem. Ivan Lins over deze opname: “Josee zingt het lied zo mooi, zo stijlvol, met een emotionele interpretatie die ik nooit ben vergeten. Dus dat dit de titel van het album is, is niet meer dan logisch!”
Doce Presença is the latest album by Josee Koning, produced by four-time Grammy winner Ivan Lins. It was recorded in Lisbon with Ivan’s Portuguese band. The album features twelve tracks, including two duets by Josee and Ivan: Plus fort que nous is a romantic duet from the French film classic Un homme et une femme; the bonus track, Doce Presença, is a unique live recording of a duet that Josee and Ivan performed during a concert in 2006 in Josee’s hometown, Haarlem. Ivan Lins about this recording: “Josee sings the song so beautifully, so elegantly, with an emotional interpretation that I have never forgotten. So it makes perfect sense that this would be the album title!”
