Hi I have few questions about the single beam processing..I want to the mail lines and cross lines difference between the lines. How is it possible..usually we can check on flat surface..but on sloping its not possible..mostly the variation should ne in 10cm but slope areas how much it is..please tell me ..thanks
Acceptable varience between main line and crossline shoud not be there. But as per IHO SP 44 standard, 1% can be the depth accuracy. So in general we can also take the same 1%. But thats not the case. If we take 1% variable then in 30m depth we can have a mismatch of 30cm which is not acceptable. So as a surveyor we need to understand what causes errors in depth and try our best to minimize them.
