It's kind of amazing as this was the very first ballet as actual ballet. Previously, I was not so much in like with the tragic tale, but meanwhile, I try to see it as a more complex story with so amazing characters. Fidelity vs betrayal, illusions vs real possible life, how James tries to bond the airy spirit to him and loses her with this forever, seeing this ballet also from Effi's or Madges' view. I hope to see it also live someday!
