A beautiful soul and a very very unique group. Many people from back then didn't understand the Spice Girls, many from today also don't understand them. They weren't about vocals and polished talents. The Spice Girls weren't even manufactured and everyone erroneously thinks that, they searched for management and a record deal by themselves, they said NO to synchronized clothing and choreography. They decided to continue wearing what they always did. They weren't super fit, they weren't super hot but their ambition, dreams and energy together was something that hasn't been duplicated to this day. The world felt the genuineness, love, passion and dreams that these girls had. What they achieved in 2 years and with 2 albums usually takes a very big artist over 4 albums to make. I love them and I love Sporty Spice. It makes me happy that such a diverse demographic of people love them, like myself.
As a fourteen year old teen in the early 2000’s “I turn to You” was and still is one of my faves from Mel C. She looks fab as all the Spice Girls still do. Pretty great interview overall.💫🇬🇧💫
She's so terrific. She had always been my second favorite Spice Girl, and now she's officially my first. Just purchased her new book, so glad she's doing so many interviews promoting her new book. Can't wait to read more. Thank you for having Melanie C on your show, Tamron!
These girls have had such a tremendous impact on my life and growing up as kid in the 90s they were such a light in my life and helped me through trials and tribulations. So many memories of watching their videos, buying their cassettes, seeing their film when it was released on video after the theaters on USA and my grandmother setting the VHS recorder, eating their lollipops, posters, school supplies, etc. Spice Mania will always be forever for me. Also I loved Northern Star and made my dad buy me her solo record. In fact all of them except Victoria and Emma I purchased their solo records because they weren't available in the US only as imports which on allowance wasn't cheap growing up lol. Love the Spice Girls forever 💗❤️
I also hear that song called ‘Wannabe’ by the Spice Girls if I used to dance and play Just Dance on the Wii game and then, I listened to it on Spotify.
SPICE4LIFE!!!❤️Such a beautiful person inside and out. "Never Be the Same Again" always otherworldly with #LeftEye I miss those cheeky girlpower days...
Yessss I know the gay men love it I been rock with her Solo album Who I Am Overload In and out of Love Fearless High Heels Blame it on Me I hope she continues Solo and we all wish the spice girl reunion.
One of my biggest regrets was not seeing them in 2008. Especially since my favorite Spice Girl was Posh. Lord knows if she’ll ever do a tour with them again 😂
@@allencall6572 if it ever does, all I know is their team better be smart enough to prep for a live concert where they can actually tape it for a streaming or physical release. Til this day, I can’t believe the reunion tour in 2007/2008 was not taped to be released officially
Love you Mel C. You were my favourite spice girl because you were sporty but because I was black I’d always be told to like scary spice. kmt. Thank you for your advice too.
I love her! Can I just say something unpopular but honest. Men don't pit women against each other because they are afraid, they do it because it works.
She went and had a massage (which ironically she talks about going to get on camera in the behind the scenes lead up to Istanbul concert) she said he made her take all her clothes off and lay face up naked without a towel. He started rubbing really closely to her vjay and then she felt his erection rubbing her arm and she freaked out and left
Haha they had the fastest U.K. tour in history selling out 13 stadiums in seconds, it’s crashed the internet only 3 year ago. Millions tried to get tickets. Just because your day never happened don’t be jealous.
You're totally a Gen Z. The Spice Girls were bigger than any current artist. Even the current biggest artist today is not remotely at par with the Spice Girls. Hence the reason why their time was labeled Spice Mania. It was one of a kind. If you didn't live it, that sucks for you.

I could listen to Mel C narrate a phone book. Her voice is so expressive and joyful!
She narrated the audible version of her memoir and she so good! You could feel her actual emotions in each word.

Yep great song
Melanie C has such a great voice. Her voice stands out in the group but as a solo artist, her music is so deep.

Still a Spice Girls fan. Mel C also has really great solo music

Her solo work is amazing!❤
I love spice world!!!!! Haha great movie! Makes me laugh. I remember always watching as a kid.
Loved all the spice girls as a 7 year old I'm the late 90s and still do ❤
Wow, so excited to see her on your show. I definitely have to watch more often to see who else you get to come on the show. #Spiceupyourlife
Hope they tour 🙏 loved them at the stadium shows in 2019.
The Spice Girls were the best British band of the 90's and Melanie C is an incredible singer, composer and song writer 💛!!!
I also hear that song called ‘Wannabe’ by the Spice Girls if I used to dance and play Just Dance on the Wii game and then, I listened to it on Spotify.

ICONIC MELANIE C
All of the spice girls look better now at almost 50 than they did in their 20’s. They haven’t aged.
Spice Girls Forever
What a great interview 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Please tour the USA again. I loved seeing them live in 1998 and 2008.
One of my biggest regrets was not seeing them in 2008. Especially since my favorite Spice Girl was Posh. Lord knows if she’ll ever do a tour with them again 😂
@@notyouraveragebear9326 , I highly doubt that will happen, but we can always have hope. 🙏

Wow. Mel's really been making the rounds this last couple weeks.
GIRL POWER!!! #spiceworldtour2023
I really like her voice
I totally like her track suit she's wearing!
I am huge Spice Girls fan. I hope this book will be translated and published in Poland!
Please ask them to come to Brazil!
Melanie 🔥💪✌️
Never had a favourite spice girl, but I had a massive crush on her .
Never be the same again the spice girls changed the game
ARE THEY BACK???!!!
Please have a WORLD 🌎 tour and not just UK. I saw them in 1997 in Michigan, US and it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to.
I love her even more now! It's not YOUR responsibility all the damage that monster did.
Who assaulted her? Does she name names in her book? They did book Glastonbury for 2023, right?

Some masseuse in Istanbul. Was minor
She now has an excuse to walk around in track suits again. 😂
It didn´t happen :(
Tampon hall
God she becomes so cringe when she over acts in interviews
Plz no
Sorry lady. You had your day its over. Enjoy the memories
It isn’t over honey, they got fans all over the place.
Spice Girls will never be over
Lemme know when you sold over 90 millions records and inspired a generation
