After Black Friday 2021, I haven't seen the pro version in any retailer in Canada. Is it just me or did they stop manufacturing and selling these because of how cheap they sold it, given the features and capabilities compared to similar sound bars?
just got mine in Roku sound bar pro and speakers for rear and 55 inch Roku TV you still will want both remotes , setting up best for sound for rear you will want to set to stereo sound still seems something like 60 percent sound bar and 40 percent rear speakers but should sound better depends how big your room is, going back to the remote you will be using your remote that came with your TV and not so much sound bar remote , some people will say skip sound bar and just get speakers I am not to sure about that I really like the sound bar not sure it is worth adding speakers but seems better the more as time goes on
@@krisibarra2904 not really sure I set up soundbar first I could see in the soundbar settings for sub woofer and speakers setup also if I wanted to add front speakers so I guess that is how to do it , I was thinking the same about speakers how do you set it up ? they sent me sound bar first than speakers a couple days later
Thanks for the review. I noticed during the sound test that it appeared to be a flashing light on the middle top of the bar? That is distracting. Was that a reflection?
Just ordered to replace my Sonos Playbar. I hate the Samsung TV interface and think this is the cheapest and cleanest route to go. Cheaper than replacing the tv. and Sonos is not compatible with Roku streaming stick remote. Hopefully, I don’t loose much in sound quality
HELP! :) I want to use this with a projector that does not have audio output. Does the sound bar have its"own" sound or does it have to come back from the tv or the source you are viewing from?
It kind of has both. I wonder if your projector is bluetooth enabled, if so, that would be a way to get it to the soundbar if doesn't have audio output.

I've been using an hdmi audio splitter between a roku player/streamer and my projector and sending the sound to a bose soundock which works ok, but I would like less fuss , wires and such if you know what I mean.. Guess I'll continue with my current setup. again, thank you ! :)
UPDATE: I downloaded the Roku app to my Samsung phone at work so I could do a search. For the heck of it, I decided to try the remote feature of the app.. for kicks, I hit the "headphone" icon and the sound was then broadcast from my phone. SOOOOOO, I can bluetooth my phone thru roku stream bar or any bluetooth soundbar.. HAPPY ACCIDENT.
Hi Juan! Great review presentation! So I'm a little behind the times with technology lol Just want to make sure I understand a few things correctly. So I have an old model TV. Were you saying that this Roku streambar can allow an old TV to stream? I want to stream music, but I do not want to stream from my phone. I want to stream through an app, like Spotify or TH-cam music. So will this streambar download and show apps on my old TV? I'm so confused! Thanks, Juan! (and I might have more questions if you respond lol!)

you should clip your mic to your shirt near your chest or maybe sleeve. It was what was causing you the sound issue as your movement changed its pickup.

How is the smaller version the basic rocky stream bar sound wise
It already sounds better in this video, played through my iPad pro than my LG TV speakers. 🙄
I wish they’d sell that in the UK, they only sell the small streambar which is ok for a small room.

Can you hook both optical and hdmi or would that be conflicting
I don't see a reason to do so. Aren't both just methods to get sound signal _into_ the bar?
If my old tv just have a normal HDMI and don´t have any optical output, can I still use this soundbar?
Yes you should be able to use with an HDMI port

It was him changing the volume. The light flashes when you press a button on the remote.

FYI....the soundbar has a "find remote" button in case lose your remote
If I already have a Roku TV, would it benefit me to use this type of soundbar?
Yeah cause the soundbar sound is what the real upgrade is. The roku built in is just a bonus.

Yes it can turn your old TV into a smart TV along with becoming a soundbar for the TV. You will be able to download an app tp play music on it.

Your audio is jacked up, doesn't help with credibility for reviewing an audio product.
