WOW! Who the hell carried around a video camera in 1997? Though technically the riot happened in 1996. This is so awesome. I was guy selling balloons. Didn't sell much acid that night and the cops took my tank. The yellow balloons were me. Lol. Good times. I'm writing a story about this RN and linking this. Thank you so much for uploading this. 🧙♂

+Daniel Rodriguez Same here. We were pissed that they stopped letting people in. We heard some dope sets come on and everyone at the gate agreed to just rush it. No one was giving us any answers and we were missing our new years party! rushed the gate only to find riot cops already ushering everyone right out. What a crazy night
I remember this night very well. I was running down from the top of the parking structure after looking for some friends who told me they parked at the top. Suddenly I heard the sound of boots running after me; there were cops in the stairwell yelling at me to get the hell out or they'd shoot. My friend Carrol got hit in the back with a rubber bullet so I wasn't too into that idea! We had originally rushed the gate but then went right back out. Saw people on stretchers, riot cops, etc
I was in the party having a great time. People were already warming up with their vocals. I had just took two drops of liquid lsd. Got lost from my buds, when they ushered from the party out into the riot. Rest was downhill.
I remember this Night! unfortunately no video of when those light blew in that parking structure, I was in the streets being pushed around like cattle from riot police on one side and crowds from another, miss the 90's.

i actually was watching that gut throw that fire hydrant from down on the street!!
I got lost for hours as I got loose from out group.. I might maybe I think was on LSD?! HaHa.. Great rave as it lasted..
