I have my Dad's 1965 Honda dream 305 needs a little work. Surface rust. I would like to sell.

It's funny were just about the same age, same story. I restored one a few years back, still have it. If you take the price for the bike
back when it was new and convert it to todays value ,you won't to too far off for what you paid. Back in the day 500 or 600
dollars was a lot of money. My bike is red ,red seat and the white walls. Your bike is eye candy, enjoy!

I'd rather listen to the engine than that music! Love the bike--that's what I learned to ride on in 1980. A friend had a 1961 model fully restored.

Thank you for posting. A beautiful bike, and I share your joy! I rode a Benly 150 in 1967.

I'm 73. Had one in 1965 exactly like that. Paid $500 for it. Had beginners license which was legal. Lived in the country. Loved that sound. Always dreamed of having another one ! Beautiful photo !

I had one of these in 1965 /66, when I was in the Navy in Hawaii. The baffles rusted out and I sawed off the tear drop exhaust pipes and inserted soup cans with holes punched in them. I bought it from a departing sailor and sold it to another sailor when I was discharged. Loved that bike.

What’s the chrome trim on the front fender at the bottom? Not seen that before. Does it have a name, I would like to source one!

Hello can you tell me where you purchased your tires? I have a dream too and it needs tires.

Are the fenders plastic or steel?

And back then, when we were 14, 15 or 16, these were big bikes with a "comfortable" amount of horsepower and size. They were perfect for a kid motorcyclist.

Yes they were. I had a ca160 dream 1966 for my second bike around 1976 and I was around 14. It would fly as opposed to my first bike...a trail 70. Third bike in 1978 was a cl360 street and trail.
      1979 fourth bike when I was 16 was a 1977 goldwing GL 1000.
Boy I was a bike riding fool in those days.
Sorry but I just piggy backed down memory lane off of your comment.
      Peace.

I have the opportunity to buy one of these for $2k Canadian. It was last driven 5 years ago and is in a storage locker since. It's all original except for the seat and is in remarkable condition. If you have $5k US invested, I better grab this while I can!

Beautiful 305 Dream! I’ve got a red 1966 305 Dream that I’ve completely restored along with a big bore kit that makes it a 350cc. Enjoy yours!

I had a 305 dream in high school that wouldn't start, and all I had to do was replace the 20 amp main fuse and it ran perfectly. I really miss that old bike.

White wall tires are amazing. I’m only 19 but I love those tires, so old school and a classical look. Beautiful bike.
