After Katya’s house was destroyed and The SiXsters fled Ukraine they were spread across Europe Switzerland, Spain, Germany… for 5 months. They wrote and recorded a rough version of it in a hour (it’s still on their website) the first day they were able to get together in Germany. Talk about dedication to their music this is it ! The members were Katya, Maria, Anna, Maya, and Kira. (Amazing fact Katya and Maria actually could have done this alone Maria plays piano, rhythm and lead guitar, and lead vocals as well as front woman. And you never know what Katya is up to like backup vocals and bass and she has access to all the instruments and recording stuff.) they are all really talented musicians.
They sang and played it flawlessly of course because they are The SiXsters and they are that talented. I was referring to the recording quality because they weren’t set up yet. Compared to the later recording or the other songs the sound quality is just not that great. It’s like the Esson concert recorded by Hessen Cam that I Still watch from time to time.
@@rustyford2790 Honestly, I don't know what you're talking about, the recording is absolutely fine. The Cam recordings at their live gig's are usually terrible, that recording is very good?? The main difference is the fact that they added harmonies etc in the production of the second recording plus no doubt mixed the instruments better. The original recording is a very good quality though.
I'm not sure if either of you were at the TH-cam Christmas live-stream today. The sound quality was excellent, basically album quality. So many reactors were there (and Freeze The Fall), and have become huge fans. I asked if they were going to have some professional quality video of their live performance and Maria said they are definitely going to be doing that. I'm hoping to see them live in concert sometime, but the Christmas live-stream was really great, and everyone was so generous.
Excellent song, they wrote this in the first hour they met up after their families fled Ukraine. Kate, Kira, Maya, Anna and Maria. They recorded it live the next day in a studio loaned to them, I prefer that live version to this version as you can see in their faces the meaning of the song to them, plus of course the video has all 5 girls from before the invasion. This version was recorded a year later with Polina replacing Kira on bass, additional production added and the video only having the 2 girls available to film.
