Watching you for inspo... I'm a motorbike mechanic and I'm after the same bike, would be great if you could put the link to the items/parts you buy in your description 👍
Hey thanks for watching and cheers for the suport. I shall try doing that from now on but I do get everything from ebay, I will make note of link and add them from now on. Thanks for input 👍
I like the fact the engine can take the extra gearing but that's too close imo for the front sprocket. Ill go up 1 tooth on front but drop 3 or 4 teeth on rear... pretty much same gear ratio change but keeping the front with a bit more room for error. At speed for long time I feel the chain could creep out the teeth and potentially destroy the engine casing. Cheers for heads up great video matey
@@motomachinezuk8786 nice one mate just after asking you I just thought look at the back sprocket to find out lol . Ordered at 17 tooth front and 35 tooth rear sprocket . Let's see if thus makes it a bit quicker
@@motomachinezuk8786 oh ok mate wasn’t sure I’ve just picked up the old school Loncin/ghost 250cc pit bike and was wondering as they are a older engine and might no work with it thanks though mate that 190 is something else 🔥
They are all similar 190 for price is OK yes. I don't recommend as don't want come back that's why I try review then people make own choice. 190 not best starting bike and the 160s have more hp. Electric start on 190 that can help Hope this helps mate
Don’t get me wrong I have rode the bikes but I want something that I won’t get bored of and I thought the 190 was pretty big so I thought would be perfect as I am 6ft 2 appreciate the reply mate let me know what u would recommend if u could mate won’t have no come backs u just know more than me
@@motomachinezuk8786 ok cheers . i'm thinking about getting the 140 . as i can't see the 4 extra bhp is worth it for money and the 5 speed gearbox has some bad reviews . i used to have 110 pit bike with about 4bhp among other motorcross bikes_but that thing was good fun
I would think so yes not sure how it would perform, I guess fine. Quite a few people run similar on same engine just depends where you ride most and getting it set up for that Thank you pleased you enjoy the content
@@therathunter1814 I think they are both good. Starcross was tough to fit compared to others. I use maxxis on my170 and they are also good for wear and grip. I think all the good brands are 1000 times better than stock rubbish. I've not had a bad set yet if you know what I mean
It would be really helpful if you added links to the items you buy
Great vid mate and just ordered the 17t sprocket now really looking forward to the carb upgrade vid to see if that helps more keep up the good work 👍👍
Yes carb I will do when weather bad as to be honest if I can ride now I shall make most of it, them jobs for a rainy day.
Cheers mate 👍
I've had this sprocket sat in my spares bag. For months, now fitted mine, had to shave the casing a little, but yeah what a differance
After trying it on my drive, not massive, I've got a 39 tooth to try on the back tommorow, I, ll let you know how it pulls
Yes good to hear that result as might try a different rear sprocket. Keep me posted

Ya this and drop the back to 32-36 tooth will also make a difference top end put you in the 75-80mph
Wow that's fast. Might be worth a try but to be fair I'm off road mostly so those speeds are not needed for where I ride but good for road use

Maybe a safer bet and glad to hear it of use to you. I might try a 16 39 in near future.
My yx160 is running 16/ 32 gearing. great video man!
That's a small rear sprocket I think I shall try a smaller one but 37 first
Cheers glad you enjoyed
I run 16/32 also in my yx140 and so dose my mate on his gen4 140 huuuuge improvement over the stock
@@motomachinezuk8786 topped out my bike is doing roughly 60-65mph, I need to try and record it
Hello mate 1 question I just bought one of these and looking for a tyre upgrade what size tyres have u gone for front and rear?
Hi I've just gone for same size that was on there 17/14. I can't remember the exact size but like I said same size as stock. Hope this helps 👍
@@motomachinezuk8786 class mate I'm loving the bike so far
What tooth would people recommend for a 2020 stomp z3 140, higer speed and longer gears?
Higher*
Ay you alright lad just wondering did you use a 420 or a 428 having difficulty figuring out which one I need
Stock is a 428. I would use 428 only as more powerful engine mate. Just to be safe. 420 will fit just not as heavy duty

Do you run high octane fuel 99 never tried it 🤔would be either really good or really bad
I've always used best fuel I can get. 97 and 99 has been fine for me, bikes prefer it I reckon.
