People should desist from seeking prophets to choose a spouse for them, often doesn't end up well.
That was how one guy give me a prophecy that two men are coming for me.one is coming in the package I don’t like and the other is coming in what I like and that I pick the one coming in the package I don’t like. Today God has opened my eyes to the mistake I made...I accepted a wrong prophecy out of ignorance and respect for a guy coming in the name of God...God cannot give me what I don’t like and God doesn’t take pleasure in confusing me. A pastor gave me a prophecy that a man like like that was my husband,funny enough it was a man i felt absolutely nothing for,Infact his calls irritates me.
I told him I ddnt like the man and he told me I don’t need to like him that its the man’s job to love me.
I kept wondering how i was going to spend the rest of my life with a man i despise
that much.I went on unlimited fasting,i told God to prove what the pastor said to me,i told him i was going to fast everyday from 6am -12pm till any day he answers me.And God proved himself i think on the 2nd week ,the man that claim to love me left for a very flimsy reason.
I was so happy,because I couldn’t have made a huge mistake marrying him.
It’s been months since we stopped communicating and I have never missed him for a single day, Infact i experience the kind of peace I have not had in a while.

A prophet told me I was his wife that God told him I was his wife honestly I became confused because I always had this feeling I would marry a genuine follower of Christ because I love God so much and I thought since he was a prophet and he was doing Gods work maybe there was a possibility he was my husband so anyways I prayed about it then the spirit led me to go close to him and know him more so I did and I got to find out a lot about him he is so ungodly and doesn’t even know God
This man was literally telling me that it is not wrong for us to have sex that God has already told him am his wife. Honestly I saw a lot of characteristics that were not of God. He doesn’t preach the word in his church and he is boastful, acts overly righteous, authoritative, and condemning. Everything about him just didn’t seem right but I was still confused if he was the one then the Holy Spirit ask me to fast and few days into my fasting i immediately knew God didn’t want him for me the whole confusion was Gone like I knew it in my spirit he wasn’t the one. So pastor king thanks for this video this is more confirmation from God that I’m on the right track.

The answer is rightly YES and NO.
In my case, I said no and this was deemed disobedience aka iniquity. But then to be fair, I always said I did not want marriage and would never marry, and would even use Paul's line "it is better to remain single than marry".

Please why are prophets always using there are "two men" in your life😂. Are you sure they are not in the same whatsapp group chat? A prophet has told me too that there are two men in my life and one of them is my husband when i was only dating one person and now I am even single 😂. The scripture is key, if God really told you who you should marry you can pray about it and be sure that you are hearing right but him choosing is on very rare occasions. Loved every bit of this! I good friend married a girl in our Church. The Church put them up for prophesy as a couple, A year latter his wife left him and divorced. He was upset that the prophet didn't mention this. I thought that God knows the future but would never speak divorce because its not Gods will. Adam chose Eve because she was the only one. God told Adam, looky here Adam, Adam said ty.

I have listened to a lot of Pastor Kingsley’s inspiring messages, and this is the first time I have a dissenting view on his message. Pastor Kingsley started by saying that God can guide you but won’t pick for you. I understand that because then we will be denying the ‘free will’, if we disagree. The part that I found contradicting is to say that prophets can’t guide, this is after he has said God can guide in the process. Then what role do prophets play. Do prophets not receive direction from God? I know that individuals can also receive messages directly from God, but it may not be all the time.
Personally, I don’t see anything bad in seeking guidance from prophets (beware of fake prophets) Ephesians 4:11. “And he gave some as Apostles, and some, prophets; and some, preachers of the good news; and some to give care and teaching;” The role of prophets is to give guidance based on what was revealed to them.
I am a personal testimony when it comes to this topic, and I can boldly say that it’s good to follow prophetic guidance. These days you may find nine fake prophets out of ten and I believe Pastor Kingsley’s advice was born out of this phenomenon.
PK took time to expound on the Biblical basis for his advice. He did not deny that prophecy is a gift and office of the Spirit, but Scripture never says that prophecy is given to people to enable them select spouses for people or make godly decisions for people. That is why you don’t see such practices in the New Testament. As PK said, prophetic gifts and words are given to edify and build up believers, they can also confirm a word that God has spoken. But they are no longer to serve as intermediaries between God and new covenant believers who have the Holy Spirit. PK sounded an important note of caution that many need to hear in this generation. Also note that every true believer in Christ has the Holy Spirit and the ability to hear directly from God *if we seek Him*. Scripture is very clear on this.
Yes, I share in your school of thought also. Because not everyone may have unlocked that level of hearing from God and that's why Prophets are there to guide us. That's a major role prophets play.
Start from 19:00 into the message. His message was clear. He said prophets shouldn’t give DIRECTION although they can confirm what God has already said to you. That’s guidance. Through your walk with God, you should be led by His Spirit and then a prophet could guide you by confirming what you & God have already discussed.

The prophetic is ok if it comes to you. But don't go about seeking for it. God would usually use the prophetic as a confirmation of what he is already seeking to you about.

Same to me. These days Pastors are match maker. According to bible Pastors and Prophets etc were not match maker in those days.
Hmm in Gen 24:14, it says, “Now let it be that the young woman to whom I say, ‘Please let down your pitcher that I may drink,’ and she says, ‘Drink, and I will also give your camels a drink’-let her be the one You have appointed for Your servant Isaac.“ - doesn’t this APPOINTED suggest God picked? Yes, Abraham/servant seemed to choose to position themselves to look for a wife in Abraham’s brother Nahor’s city instead of another city and chose to look by the well, but since God “appointed” her for Isaac, how is that not God picking? (And the woman the servant saw and asked was also Abraham’s brother’s daughter - it sounds like God orchestrated the timing and guided them together AND picked Rebekkah for Isaac). God picking may not be common, but it seems to have happened on this occasion…what do others reading this think?

Actually God can tell a prophet whom you will married. In the book of Tobit he was told whom he will married and the angel helped him get rid of the demon that pursued his wife. I believe it can be prophesied whom you will married but both your will is needed to make that prophecy manifest. If one person disobeys God will not force them and literally redirect you to someone else. God’s plans change but his purposes are enternal
So true.sometimes It's true what the prophet said but you cannot force the other party to marry you.God never runs out of people and resources.

God instructed Hosea to marry the prostitute to show through the relationship Israel’s unfaithfulness to God…God can lead us and guide us who to marry today we must be led by the Holy Spirit

@@godismyhelp6359 Hosea 1:2 makes it clear that the instruction God gave to Hosea was given for a very specific prophetic purpose for the people of Israel.
The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD. (Hosea 1:2)
God told him where he should go and pick a wife but He didn't specify the exact person.
