Save them and when you have a good pile of licker bits (I use that term for any tool waste fiber comes off of), spin it. Make a thick, chunky, single, then ply it with thin yarn or thick thread. Now you can weave a rug. ~Shiree

is the heckle used before or after carding?
After carding.
