Thank you so much for sharing. My husband and I have been trying for about 2 years without any success if getting pregnant. The progesterone was the only lab I have not had drawn and after listening to your symptoms and improvement with taking the progesterone, I would love for that to be my issue. I appreciate you sharing your story and giving some information about what is working for you. ❤
Everything you have described is me and what I am going through from the low progesterone to visiting an acupuncturist and a naturopath and soon a fertility clinic. I am also the same age as you and in Ontario ! Thank you so much for making this xoxo
I’m crying watching this. I had a loss in Nov and am still feeling fragile, I think low progesterone is the cause but I don’t feel like my doctor listens so I’m going to try a naturopath
I know your comment was quite a while ago but I'm experiencing the same thing. Miscarriage in sept 2020 and none of tbe doctors I had talked to were listening all made me feel like I was being ridiculous and its normal for menstrual cycles to be irregular. Well, hundred of dollars later with a naturopath, the test results confirmed what I already knew and now I'm about to.embark on a journey of about 5 different supplements to correct the issues which primarly is extreme progesterone deficiency... Did you get answers or any treatment plans you can share that worked?
@@alexandracreighton4079 I am so so sorry for your loss. It’s so heartbreaking and not too many people really understand. What worked for me was stress reduction, progesterone, acupuncture was huge for me, lots of meditation and my naturopath had me taking vit D, B, coq10, and magnesium. I truly hope you find some answers, my heart goes out to you! If you need to talk to someone - I’m @runfitmama on IG
@@alexandracreighton4079 exact same thing. Just had 3rd mc with known low progesterone. The dose they placed me on was only getting me to week 8 them I would lose the pregnancy. Meeting with naturopath in a week. The doctors totally ignore you. They actually told me I needed to go to a fertility clinic to get more progesterone. Total joke. I wish you well in your journey.
I had a chemical pregnancy and my levels were 3.8 at 3 weeks n should have been at least 10. I’m starting a cream (doc won’t prescribe unless 2 or more miscarriages and I’m not waiting bc for that)
I use vitex to help even out my estrogen Nd progesterone. I also have spotting for a week before my period starts. It works really well. Also seed cycling is a great thing to try and level out your hormones. I am watching this because I am waiting for my repeat miscarriage to happen. 😭
What prenatal vitamin do you take? I recently switched to a prenatal recommended for those who may have MTHFR gene mutations (miscarriages), called Naturelo Prenatal. It has folate....not synthetic folic acid which can be toxic.....and methycobalamin form of B12. There are other brands but this one has no side effects, and is three food sourced natural powder filled capsules taken with meals.
Hi there! Thanks so much for sharing. I totally agree - I take NFH Pre Natal SAP, it has folate not the synthetic form. I was also told to switch over. I'm currently 6 months pregnant now :)
Please share the naturopath's information who prescribed you a progesterone cream, I'd like to reach out regarding the same issue. Thank you for this helpful information!
I suffered 5 miscarriages in my life and I sure wish I could have been informed about this type of stuff years ago. I never was able to be a mom and I think this is likely the issue. I am testing all my hormones now. Too late for me now to have a child.
Hey there! Yes, I'm 6 months (almost 7 months) pregnant now. I started taking a progesterone cream prior to conceiving but as soon as I got pregnant they put me on the suppositories. Just once at night as my levels showed as okay. I'm not sure if it was the progesterone alone but I believe it was a big help for me.
