Lived in Goodland for a time. Attended and graduated from NWKTC. Had a lot of good times and of course some of the opposite. Great people in Goodland. Thank y'all for putting up with me and mine.
Wife and I, while on vacation, were chosen to be "Tourist of the Week" when we drove through Goodland in July, 1964 (or 65). Police pulled us over and asked us if we wanted to do it. Better than going to jail so we said yes. Got a free motel room, dinner, a tour of the town, some assorted free gifts and our picture in the paper. Nice and interesting experience.
