This man right here made a band in 3 weeks and some of us still tryna sell a beat for 5$ to a soundcloud rapper. Respect 4u dawg
If I had a dime for every time I saw somebody post only three fire emojis in an instagram comment
Thank you for being so down to earth man. I'm just starting and your experience definitely took the edge off. I've seen a lot of advice about beginning careers from many producers who are already in a place of great success, but I felt more comfortable with your advice because you're coming from a perspective closer to my own. Thank you for your advice 🔥 I'm definitely subbed.
very insightful my man would definitely like to see more videos like this for sure!
This is the first time I feel that a beatmaker is telling the truth about his income :-) I totally agree with what you say about the people behind their social media ! Great Video !
I am, no reason to lie. I show my failures as well as my wins. It's the growth that counts not the immediate results! ✌️
thanks for sharing Ed ! really digging your content !
Brooo "be positive and positive things will happen" has been my motto forever! So refreshing to hear others with that same mindset. I've been following you on IG you're always putting out dope content. I'm really looking forward to seeing what your TH-cam channel brings to the world. Keep doing what you're doing man, youre going places ✌️
That means so much. It's been my mantra for a long time and it has a deeper meaning than it may seem at first. I appreciate the love man 🙏
Thank you for all the amazing tips. Always so insightful
This is really helpful.
Today i'm just starting with this, i felt really nervous before i posted my first beat and i think your advice really gave me some confidence. I will aply everything you said.
Thank you a lot, you just won a new suscriber.
nice video and good tips. i like that these are tips that you dont find everywhere. most tips when youre searching for them are "make good music", "post often", but you have serious information. good work!
Genuine advice, clear and to the point. Good work. I appreciate it. Keep moving forward.
You're great, Ed. Congrats for the amazing video.
I dived into your old videos just to see you without a hat but instead i found this gem
Thank you EdTalenti. Keep them melodies flowing 🙏😃
great video man, i appreciate the tips!!
@edtalenti your tutorials are so useful! and i am gonna gave so much fun with your sample packs!
Real and authentic, great words and good to hear that it's possible!!! The best is yet to come
I love that one! Keep going brother! 👊
This is really great info. Thanks for sharing. I just took a written business communications class and this is the same thing my instructor stressed through the whole class is to remember the human elemental and build goodwill with your audience. It's important to add audience benefits especially when you expect the audience to act on your message, in this case buying your beat would be that action.
More great info from you! Time to put it to use!!
Great Stuff man. Appreciate the information. Keep it up!
Looking forward to apply your suggestions! Thank you for the helpful video.
Respect ED......Subbed oh and I grabbed that Cymatics "Hearts" FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!

Just made my first sale at the age of 16! Thanks for your help bro :)) you helped a lot
How could sell and license my beats at 16 without lying about my age ???
@@ashtonnicholas2772 Hey bro, I'd probs say its best for your parents or whoever looks after you to manage the funds until ur 18. That's if you trust them though. If not you can link your beatstars/website to your local bank account.
@@jasam5523 wasnt much at first but when i stayed consistent for 2 months i earned around $3k in sales
Great stuff, youre an inspiration!
Thank you for always giving back to your fans

Thanks dude! This video was so helpful. By the way, I've been struggling to get sales for my beats, which is the reason I'm here. Again, thank you dude!
You are going to be a Star soon.Mark my words.Keep doing you i support you for good!Big Respect🙏🏼💯
Thank you so much fam....it seems really helpful 🙏
Great tips, bro. I think the being smart about what you post was the biggest thing I took away. It's easy to move from style to style and forget what got you success in the beginning.
Very good Tips!
I'm a musician (Guitarist / Bassist) more than 10 years ago, but I have just started producing music (less than a year) there are still many things that I need to learn and master in this great activity, but I already made the first 4 beat / tracks, thanks to great channels and tutorials like the ones you do. Thanks for sharing!
Greetings from Mexico City!
Good video, but i disagree about comparing your beats to radio songs. For starters they're going to be much louder since it's been mastered and all that which is not a good comparison for your beat. The other reason of they're going to sound way different with vocals and professional mixing and all that, so again not a fair comparison for your beat. Instead I think it's better to find some really good high quality instrumental beats on youtube and compare yourself to them.
your own beats should be mastered to commercial loudness aswell if you want to upload them somewhere
Wooooord I always compare my stuff with Flying Lotus, Birocratic, Chillhop etc...
U can lower it by -3db and listen To it that way...: but it does help to reference tracks....
Vidal Schneider I would think that the mastering engineer would not like a track that has already been squashed
Hey Ed! Thank you so much for making this video because ive learnt so much from the time i watched this video for the first time last year until today! It helped me so much that you inspired me to create a video about HOW I MADE $1000 IN 3 MONTHS SELLING BEATS ONLINE! Your a true inspiration my friend, thank you once again and enjoy the rest of your day! :)
Thanks for this!
2 years later is still helpfull !!
Great video. I would just like like to know more about the technical part of things. What do you use for sales, how do you come about processing them. I will check out your links and site. Thanks.
Great Video, thanks a lot !
Every single producer here in this chat I hope you become successful in 2022!
At the end of the year you will see the result of your daily efforts, even if you have to grind a lot before you get to see any of it
thanks for the tips boss
Awesome video super helpful, just curious how many beats did you have on your beat store when you first started? and what did they consist of(genre wise)?
That's the kind of video I was searching for
One thing I don’t know is how high a beginner should set his prices
$20-$25 for an mp3 lease, $45-$50 for wav, $400-500 for exclusive, unless ur beats are ass then don’t sell them just yet but still post them for free and work on improving before you sell
NickyBangerzMusic it means you’re handing over all rights of that piece of music to whoever buys it. (This also means you can no longer that beat btw unless they say you can for some strange reason) So once they purchase the exclusive license they can do anything they want with it. they could even resell it and claim they made it, which is why you should always make your exclusive price exponentially higher 👍
People usually want to buy the exclusive rights to a beat when they really like it and want no one else to have it but them.
Manasez so if I were to sell an exclusive should I remove the producer tag?
Great video thanks for sharing
Did you find these tips helpful? Share your experience! ✌️🔥
@@openaudio4432 but its accurate. Sometimes people gotta tell you something 10,000 times before you listen. He's trying to help, love the grind my man
Great video bro subscribed
@@openaudio4432 That's because there's no secret. If 100 people tell you the same things maybe there must be some truth in it ✌️
yes, its very helpful but how did you make your website
Saah due.. Thanks for the video.. definitely going to try harder. Could you listen to my beats and give me some advice? would really appreciate it.
