      @@skitzcunt4213 A 145er going up to fight a big 155er now. Poirier is way bigger then Max and is one of the best guys in the world. I also watched him eat those same shots that finished McGregor, Gaethje, Alvarez, and other top guys. Max ate all that same damage and kept fighting back while losing a decision. Him losing a fight has nothing to do with my comment, that’s just you being a troll trying to diminish someone who is a savage because of one fight that he lost and showed a lot of fucking heart in the process while the power between those two guys was very obvious.

    • @benjaminpicton5224
      @benjaminpicton5224 2 ปีที่แล้ว +31

      @LA PULGA What XD
      You do realise that the other fighters had much better performances and memorable moments instead of some poor leech being manhandled by smesh erybady.
      Yes it was a surprising fight but the only thing surprising was how quickly he took leech's back, apart from that it was just any other khamzat fight, i'd argue his one punch knockout over meerschaert was a more impressive fight than the leech fight, as he proved he can also knock people unconscious not just wrestle.
      Please stop being a race baiter but with religion, essentially a faith baiter, you don't need to bring religion into this, no one is really, as a matter of fact, the only person who has brought religion into this is you...
      are you seriously suggesting that people in the comments are islamophobic because their favourite moment wasn't Khamzat?
      That is an absolutely absurd and backward way of thinking sorry to say, I'm sure the majority of people in the comments love watching khamzat fight, myself included, but if you have been following the sport for more than a few minutes you'll realise that a man with a beard and shaved head originating from anywhere close to russia is usually a bad sign for their opponent, no one here is islamophobic, it's just that people have a tendency to prefer wars, or intense moments in such a hectic sport, of course its fun seeing khamzat smesh erybady but it is rather predictable, and as a consequence it will naturally be less enveloping than gaethje and chandler having an all out brawl for 5 rounds. (NO ONE thought that fight would go the distance)
      One might say that the Gaethje Chandler match was also predictable, and I would agree, everyone knew it would be a barn burner, so why are people favouriting this over khamzats match?
      well.. multiple factors, but when the favourite steamrolls as expected, its not as exciting as when two fighters have a close fight, and also the fighting style of course, everyone loves to see people swinging hands and knocking opponents out.
      Don't expect you to read this and if you do then i'm probably wrong so it was pointless anyway, someone who thinks like yourself probably isn't good at realising there is more to shit than religion race gender and sexual preferences.
      Hopefully someone else reads this response and actually understands the sport and why people would choose one over the other, spoiler alert, the reason is not as extreme as you might believe.

      I will pay to see Gaethje get a title fight. I am not paying for any other fake circus fights. I won't pay to watch a 22 second Francis knockout. Gaethje is so crazy, that he is like a more razor sharp, Trevor Whittman version of Sean Strickland. There is something about watching Gaethje fight, where you just know you're going to see something absolutely unreal dangerous. The UFC needs to give Gaethje a title shot, right now.

    Honorable mention to Kris Moutinho who lost his debut fight but kept coming at O'Malley like a zombie who couldn't be killed

      Getting pure brain damage isnt badass he had heart for sure but I dont think it's that cool to not get knocked out by a man who weights less than a bulldog

      Yeah he did nothing but get hit lol. Having a good chin and ONLY a good chin does nothing in the UFC. Dude got absolutely worked the whole fight until stoppage

    All of these were bad-ass. What a year in MMA! But personally I gotta give it to Volk vs Ortega. No other moment had me stood up from my couch, grabbing onto my tv and yelling like when Ortega (at the time seemed as if he) dropped Volk with a left straight and clamped in that guillotine with lightning speed! Watching Volkanovaki's legs move ecstatically and his face turn purple, i honestly thought he was done. And then SOMEHOW he popped out! And then just moments after he gets caught in another deadly submission, T-City's SIGNATURE triangle choke and guess what? He gets out again! And then he unleashes HELL on Ortega with the ground and pound. I thought Herb was going to step in so many times during that fight but Ortega made it to the buzzer and he was just SPENT right on the floor. What a moment!

      Volkanovski is one of the best MMA fighters in history, he really is. He is one of the only people that actually beat Max, while being the smaller guy, and Max being in his prime. Something to take note. Bryan Ortega has ended up taking a career ending level of damage. His coaches or the referee should have stopped his fights, when he is clearly relying on heart, and not defending head strikes at all. In a couple of his title fights, he has taken several rounds of one sided damage, and a referee in boxing would have easily stopped the fight. Now, it's possible that Bryan Ortega has sustained career ending head trauma.

    Khamzat beat 11th best welterweight in the world without absorbing a punch he was the best imo

      It was impressive but the guy he beat was low key not very good at all. The difference between the top ten and that guy is significant. And the guy couldn’t wrestle worth a damn which means he had no chance against Khamzat.

      @@B10101 I disagree lol, but everyone has an opinion. I think he’s far below the better strikers and extremely lacking in the wrestling department, where Khamzat is clearly already one of the best wrestlers in the ufc. Dana knew what he was doing there and you know it haha. Anyways God bless, man.
