    The process is very interesting and I would love to have a glass condenser for refining chemicals to purity.

    Good job! I congratulate you, you weld very well ... I work blown of scientific glass in Venezuela! and I would like to learn new techniques. Do you teach courses or do you look for people who can work with you? I apologize for my writing, I do not use the language at 100%

      Unless you're a chemist it will all be gibberish. That is a piece of specialized apparatus perhaps a one-of-a-kind piece which his customer probably designed with consultation from the glass blower. He likely fabricated the complicated looking part and then simply needs to join it to the flask which he had previously "fire cut" to the proper diameter to match the outer jacket on the complicated piece. It would be a waste of time attempting to even explain it. How do I know this? I ran my own scientific glass blowing shop for 30 years.

      @@Smedley1947 yeah I was a glass artist with borosilicate so it was definitely an interesting topic.

      He uses an air swivel

      If you wonder what a glass blowing swivel looks like, Google Wale Apparatus and then navigate the site until you see a picture.

    Opps .... somebody forgot to wipe-off the black soot from the inner-glass before completing the project. It's going to be a real bitch cleaning that thing now : }

      They can just burn off the carbon soot in the annealing oven it's not a problem. The glass hasn't been properly annealed yet anyways :)
