I bought this same drive just because I needed a flash drive for my laptop and figured I could also use it on my OP2. Then I came across this same issue... Is this issue for all Oneplus phones? I'm thinking of maybe upgrading to the OP6t but if this issue isn't fixed I'll move onto a different company.
i have some problemm like you , but first i try sandisk OTG can work perfectly but after 7 transfer data i connect OTG , My Sandisk OTG not responding.
+reewaj shrestha The solution is the OTG devices are not directly compatible due to the software on the Oneplus phones blocking this. The way around is to use the Anker converter with a card reader. The Anker converter I use in this video is made similar to the original converter from Oneplus so works fine. Unfortunately SanDisk and other OTG type-c devices are not directly compatible.

Man, the people in reviews for the Anker adapter you've put a link in the description for seem to think it does not work well with OTG.
