They're all in their early 30's. I was amazed when I discovered that, because they're so convincing. One would expect them to be playing "uncles" falling in love. And then there's Aungpao/Dyn who isn't 18 yet. Is that right?
Every good drama should have a line now and then that tears you apart, that makes it difficult to imagine coping with it yourself in the situation. "I'm not lame, am I?" is one of those lines in this situation. Being the other half of the relationship and immediately understanding how to help your partner cope with it is a tremendous skill to have, an almost miraculous degree of emotional intelligence. Doc has that. The whole scene with the Monster Chef judges to the hugs with Prem makes it no surprise that Gun and Off are thought of by many to be doing more than just acting, though maybe it is all an excellent act. Even if they have a personal romantic relationship, they are Gun and Off off screen, not Ten and Prem.
I'm so glad that Ten is just so soft, warm and kind, exactly like his mother and not becoming the person his father is. The father really need counseling and therapy for making his son gone through so much hurtful thing for years alone like this
You don't know if he will apologize later, don't get ahead of yourself. I also think it's good that he apologized because what he did is serious, nothing justifies it, I could have spoken to him and clarified the entire situation.

I actually respect the behaviour of Ten. Yeah, it's actually violent, but I completely understand and agree with him. The chef violated the intimacy and privacy of Prem, he should be the one apologizing. But nowadays we only judge the violence that's more intense, not understanding that those kind of abusive behaviours such as not respecting others boundaries are even more traumatic for some people.
Their conversation, their words towards each other, are just so genuine and endearing to hear. They are each other's safe place and comfort zone whenever they need someone to lean on. This is the relationship that we all need and want!

Showing the burn marks on Prem's arms and asserting that they are marks of determination, not clumsiness, was a superb idea on the part of the writers. While I was watching, I gasped when Ten pulled up Prem's sleeve because it was just such a perfect example of what Doc feels about Prem as a person. Bravo.
So emotional how Ten sees how much hard work Prem has been putting into his passion of cooking and that he shouldn't let the comments make him believe he's not good. 😢 Whenever Gun cries it makes me want to sob 😭 glad Ten was able to comfort him in that moment and they were able to be vulnerable together.
