I bought this exact car with the exact sel convenience package for my wife last week. Good looking car but didnt really have leather seats or the horse power that I'm accustomed to. I wasn't really that interested until my wife wanted to test drive the car. I drove it as well then we took it home with us. It had enough comfort and features to change my mind. The price and warranty are remarkable. Ha. It is also white. It's not that she saved us 15 to 20 thousand picking this car that made me happy. She really seems to love this car which is unusual for her. Cars are things to bring groceries home in as far as she is concerned. Im glad she likes it.

@@casualsuede I live in Arizona, so a sunroof would be nice. But, the sun is so strong here the seals will wear out in no time making the roof leak eventually.
I currently own a 2016 Sonata Sport Tech, purchased new. And this refreshed Sonata is definitely going to be my next vehicle in a year or two. Best value in a sedan for price to equipment ratio and the styling is outstanding. My only two complaints are, the absence of back up sensors, and also that funky gear selector. I suppose I'll get use to that with time.
Toyota and Honda have major recall too. You have to see what the recall is for. I can tell you that Toyota and Honda have major recall on recent years car and Hyundai car recalls mostly on 2011-2015 which is not recent years car.
You by far, are the best review I’ve seen for this car. You reviewed many things with an honest view of your preferences and what you think feels right. Thank you for such an honest review considering this was a sponsored video.
Thanks for the video! We currently have a 2020 Sonata SEL. I'm glad you mentioned the double pain windows. I was wondering if they had addressed the cabin noise issues. Hopefully in a year or sooner we might be able to upgrade to a 2024 or 25 model since we're a repeat owner. 2009, 2012, 2013, 2020 :-)All Sonatas!
That 3k is for a convince package pano sunroof, 18 wheels, 12.3 screens 11:23 , digital key, wireless charging & a few more things. O i see you have the extra got you sticker also.
I much prefer the front end of the previous 2023 models of this car. This looks so bland and non descript. The interior is nice sans the weird pack of cigarettes looking shifter, the wheels odd looking and the fake exhaust cutouts in the rear bumper terrible. Also very surprised they eliminated the 1.6T in these cars
As per the window sticker, this Hyundai Sonata with the convenience package is not a base model. Isn't the base model without the convenience package? It's included in this vehicle.
Dropping the 1.6 turbo was a bad move. This engine perhaps might prove to be more durable down the line. However if you are looking for underwhelming performance get in line. I do not understand why Hyundai did not use there essentially bulletproof 1.6 turbo 201hp 7 speed dual clutch? I guess this engine would not give them the accolades for best in class fuel economy. The 2.5t N-line is far more well equipped and engaging. 😂
@anchris6027 Korean models get everything..DUH!! Anywhere around the globe will be based on what their country what or feel which features are important to them to have.
I’m not a fan of the capacitive panel between the climate knobs. Should’ve been physical buttons especially since Hyundai recognized why capacitive panels are bad
Making it all physical buttons will age the interior 10 years. I like it this way. Therefore, I won't have empty buttons on features that I dont have and it just damn modern looking.
@@jraheemjefcoat429 physical buttons do not make interiors look dated, it provides tactile feedback. Go look for images of the new Kona interior as an example.
I was in love with this car until I left the parking lot and drove it. It is so refined on the inside and so incredibly awful to drive in every other way it makes me sad. Compared to my beat up 2014 Audi a4, this thing (a 2024) drove like absolute crap in every metric.

Your A Real One G 💯💯
Me too
Did it have a spare tire some don't
@jameslong4453 Really? Good question. I don't drive the car so I'm not sure. I'll check tomorrow. Thanks for pointing this out.
@@jameslong4453hybrids don’t typically come with a spare tire, just an inflation kit. ICE sonatas should come with a spare tire

That $3000 isn’t just for the sunroof. It’s an entire package of features. Some of which you seem to allude are standard features.
I was gonna to say the same. Shady, or sloppy.

@@ScarletRender Hyundai's tilt sunroof system is amazing
Great Features on the 2024 Hyundai Sonata SEL . And if you look at the Window Sticker it's made in Korea so that's a plus. Great Review 🇺🇸.
Seeing this video is making me want to buy this car even more. I’m working on getting it for my birthday in December and I’m so excited to get it
amazing what Hyundai has done in the last 20 years
Just got mine this week! Got the convenience package too and love it! So far so good!
Congratulations! Do you have leather for seats?

This does look really nice! If they don't have major recalls on this, I might be sold!

Thanks for the great review. I was considering an Elantra, but this car is probably the best bang for the buck.

Thanks for posting this. Looks surprisingly sporty in SEL. I am eagerly waiting for your 2024 Santa Fe review!
Great review! Do you think you’ll be able to review the 2024 Toyota Crown? :)
So glad they changed the front end look
Maybe soon, I get my hands on new Sonata.
The car is beautiful my parents own one and I’ve driven it it’s amazing and spacious
I love it in white!! It looks like a Stormtrooper!! May the H be with you, padawan!

Men that price is good. But where I live that same model MSRP is $32,000. That's crazy. But it looks nice.
This looks great! But is this the SEL or SEL convenience? I was under the impression only the SEL convenience has a sun roof
It’s SEL convenience. He mentions it at 9:24
Yes, it’s the SEL with the Convenience Package 👍🏼
Ah thanks!

Thanks for the honest reviews on a everyday driver.
What are your thoughts on this compared to the new honda accord 1.5 turbo? Driving/acceleration? Suspension? Thanks!
Jeez...that engine sounds kind of wheezy. I bought a 2011 Sonata, new, loved it. It got smashed and I still miss it.
It is a Sonata, not a Sinatra.
It’s from Korea… if they can make it there, they’ll make it anywhere!
So the 2024 Santa Fe doesn’t come base with 12.3 inch gauge cluster but the sonata does??

What about the SEL Technology 8AT
I like when you say "on the gas" and "whooo"! lol those are your signature
Well it's got more horsies than my Honda 2023 HRV but not by much lol
Got the exact same car
Down to this or new Camry so have to wait a bit to see how that compares.
This one trust me
Nice looking car
Does it have HUD?
ITS A BASE MODEL!!! Come on, use light on in that head of yours. 💡

This is not the base SEL, this is the SEL with the convenience package for another $3,000.
So how do you get rear vents? Ridiculous, I rather have rear vents than the screens.
Where’s the gear selector?
It's just behind steering wheel on the right
The Sinatra?
Yes. And Frank approves.

I have a 2020. This new representation of Sonata is disappointing, the display looks aftermarket, the gear shifter is just wrong. It’s a pass for me.

The one I drove had a TON of lag on the torque which this one in the video doesn’t seem to so maybe I drove a lemon idk.
Cool
I wouldn't be caught dead in it. But that's a lot of car for the money.
i would lol
You are one of those people who don't maintain their car🤣

What is wtf??
Sinatra? WTF lol
Getting rid of the fun little turbo for this slow turd is such a shame
