There are multiple CBDs krugersdord, benoni, Kempton park, rosebank, melrose, midrand/waterfall, Hyde park, randburg, Sandton, Fourways, etc Like Pretoria is the size of Nairobi but it's an hour from Johannesburg... In essence the no need for people to be clustered in 1 place at the same time. There's also Capetown, Durban, Port Elizabeth etc they are equivalent of Johannesburg

There is a Kenyan girl called African tee travel. She was in Joburg this year, she was traveling alone vloging inside CBD , we were worried but nothing happened.
Thats what most foreigners do in SA. They come with 90 Days tourist VISA and never return home once those those 90 days have lapsed. Most of them end up staying for yrs and yrs because once they attempt to go, they get banned for 5yrs not to enter the republic. Hence they get stuck in SA for years. Relatives are dying at home they cant even attend funerals.

The 4Reigner you should get your papers in order. Its not cool to not follow the laws of where you are visiting. Renew your visa so you dont have to play hide and seek. Same way it would be uncool for a South African to be in Uganda to be there illegally.

If you want authenticity use a ubber or bolt driven by a South African to learn more about our country. lately there's a lot of foreigners in our country selling counterfeit goods and it breaks my heart seeing it, because we love our fellow brothers and sisters from Africa but they have to respect or country and our laws

South Africa is 70% urbanised in contrast to 30% in kenya. Someone who lives in soweto can spend 10 years without going to Johannesburg cbd because they can find what they need in soweto... From mall, industries, hospitals, luxuries etc
