That's the challenge of decorating, isn't it? Things we can't change (like walls, doors, windows, electric plugs to name a frustrating few!! Haha) and learning to accept it and work with it rather than fight it. Isn't that true of life in general?!! Courage and wisdom are needed to change what we can! Rebekah, this room is absolutely gorgeous! You have such amazing talent for decorating! You have inspired me to use my vintage picnic basket I received 45 years ago as a wedding gift. My husband and I love driving up to the mountains and enjoying the leaves changing colors. It is so beautiful in the Fall. I don't decorate for Fall until late September. I decorate for Halloween. Then I do Fall in November. I like to decorate my dining table for whatever theme I am doing. Holstein is so precious 💕 You look so nice in this video. Your dress is so pretty! Yes,I absolutely love to decorate. I tend to decorate early. I have a 5' foot slim Christmas tree I decorate for all the holidays. I agree I love Fall and Christmas. I enjoy your videos.

I grew up watching Anne of green gables, my mom loved it and when she turned 70, yikes 9 yrs ago we took her to Prince Edward Island! And we visited the Anne of green gables sight! Very beautiful place!

So I watched another girls decor vid for fall this year, she starts early, but Instead of heavy fall decor with pumpkins and dark colors, she does really light colors, like some pillows and pastel blankets, just a pop of florals and cotton stems and stuff like her wheat.. then once it’s further into fall she brings out darker oranges and reds and pumpkins.. just an idea :)
Rebekah everything is so pretty, warm and cozy, pretty and thanks for the kinds words and I like riding out looking at how everyone decorates their porches and the pretty trees, and such as well get lost in what nature has to offer us.

I love love love your Fall Decor. Everything was simple but it all came together so beautifully. I am working with the traditional fall colors and most of my decor is from last year. I only added a few new things this year and shorten my centerpiece for the dining room this year. Fall is one of my favorites also along with Christmas and I actually leave my 7 1/2 ft tree up and decorate for Valentines Day too. All the decorations for VD ornaments, roses and hearts I made with my Cricut. It's so beautiful. Thank you sharing. God Bless you and your Family and be safe.

❤️ New subbie here! I love decorating for Fall & Christmas- get soo excited just seeing all of the great finds I have purchased over the years, soo cozy! I don’t keep my table decorated with place settings but I do a bunch of displays because we rarely use our dining room as well! In fact this year I’m doing my Halloween and Christmas Displays on the dining room table! 😊

I have always changed the house mood for Autumn the weekend of Labor Day, simply because I worked during the week and with little kids, it gave me the opportunity to change things around indoors and outdoors for Autumn. And, the last weekend of September I incorporate Halloween decor and that only stays on until the 1st weekend of November. So, I continue to keep Autumn until the weekend of Thanksgiving.
I love your ideas, thank you. Since most of my furniture is dark color wood, I stick with creams, white, burgundy, reds, oranges as decor choice.
I love your fall decorating and calming voice. Fall is definitely my favorite season to decorate. And there’s something so warm and inviting about it. Your little dog hasn’t made.

This is my favorite video, so beautiful gorgeous romantic cozy and warm ! I started decorating in the middle of August pumpkins and all little fairy 🧚♀️ lights , I love lights , I have them all over my home all year around! They are electric, no batteries they will be very expensive! My tablescape is set all the time! I have some of the pumpkins that you bought at Walmart! You really did a beautiful job decorating your home for Fall ! Usually don’t the muted colors or the same color as your on furniture!
But you mix them a little bit!

It looks so cozy and beautiful. Like you I love the fairy lights as well and I have a ton of them too, it does get expensive with the batteries though. I may pick up one or two decorations but my collection spans over so many years and I have so much I really do not need to buy new for sure. Good grief you should see the bins in my garage, ha ha. I do a little fall starting in September I have garland that I’ve wrapped lights around, those are plug-ins. I put around my patio doors and my dining room window and along the top of my hutch, but then I love Halloween. So the last week of September I go crazy with Halloween decorations. The day after Halloween that all comes down and Thanksgiving/fall decor comes out. So my of course pilgrims, turkeys, scarecrows, so so so many pumpkins! I have a lot of the glass ones. I really don’t stick to all fall colors I have all different colors. The most recent one I bought it’s a aqua colored glass one. Last year I told my mom Next year please tell me I don’t need to buy any more pumpkins, 😉then of course I think I’ve mentioned to you before we lost her on Mother’s Day this year. So when I bought this pumpkin they said well Mom this year you aren’t here to tell me no, so just one more pumpkin (well this year!) and I had a good chuckle. She would have laughed at me too and if I didn’t buy it she probably would’ve bought it for me as she’s bought me several. Wonderful memories. I decorate my dining room table but I don’t set it ever, unless were using it when company comes. Of course then I have to clear all my decorations off of it too. ☺️. Again it looks great! Fall is my favorite too.

I love your decor so cozy. I am decorating with teal, white, cream in my dining room and kitchen , I went with cream and cranberry red and tans in my living room. I get tired of all the bright oranges and yellows. I have to say I love the burnt grange, sage green stc... you are using...maybe next year I can switch :) Thank you for sharing your lovely home. I love the little ritual you created for yourself to start decorating. This is my first year doing decor (I'm trying that as part of self care), and I'm going to integrate that in my own routine... will do the same for Christmas and other events with the candle and the drink. I really liked the arch idea. I love wreaths, but live in an apartment and don't really have a place for wreaths, so this is a really interesting option to have a place to put one and admire it.
I really think this follows the cords that you put this year in your house is sort of looks beautiful I kind of like the technicians of the colors that you put up this year for fall season

I’ve been decorating our kitchenette table lately. I don’t have kids at home anymore so it’s nice to enjoy a beautiful table everyday. And it’s inexpensive when it’s just for 2. But I did purchase some extra things to decorate my dining table for Halloween. I’ll include that in my decorating for October. I love pumpkins too

I really love the more muted colors in this video. I think you captured the fall feeling and essence here. I had not thought about the little lights and will be adding lights to my decor. These are simple and elegant. Gave me some great ideas for my own table and other places to decorate I hadn't considered before.

Beautiful home and Fall decor. To answer some of your questions
1. I traditionally do Fall decorating on Labor Day weekend. However this year we are hosting our book club on August 30, so I want the house all decked out for Fall.
2. I use traditional Fall colors. I love the richness of the deep Autumn colors.
3. We have been collecting Fall decor for 40 plus year's, so I just reuse the decor that we have. I do but something new if it really strikes me.
4. Our go to stores and shops are Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Joann's, and garage sales!
5. Our home has a formal dining room and a breakfast room. So we or I should say I, always have the dining room table set for the season. I start with Fall decor for September, that is the base for all of the changes that we do this time of year. Then October we change out piece's for Halloween, our grandson loves it. Then again it is changed for November for Thanksgiving. I am always kind of shy for saying this but I/ we own 15 complete sets of china/ stoneware, with glassware to match. So our dining room changes every month...
We both live to create a beautiful home for ourselves and friends and family 😊.

I love the timing of your Fall Vlog. I have not decorated yet so you give good ideas & inspiration. I keep my table decorated all the time & use things like cake plates I can use to display pastries. I do set my dining table for EVERY season, but we only eat there for the most part at Thanksgiving and Christmas. My dining room has French doors so it’s one of my favorite places to decorate 😊

Seems I feel a little fall
in the late afternoon as I sit on the patio.I am gradually moving into a few fall arrangements in natural. The pumpkins will come in Sept. I loved all your decor. So pretty and I am a light person to. I just enjoy them so much.

I really enjoyed watching you decorate your dining room. Fall and Christmas are my favorite seasons and make my heart happy as well. I was inspired with your tablescape concept as we are two in the house...hubby and I. Love how your buffet turned out. It is never too early to decorate for Fall. We use our dining table daily so I don't set place settings but I do like to place a centerpiece for everyday but I change it up for Thanksgiving . I like the picnic basket idea.. I recently got 2 vintage baskets and I think it would be great to display a fall wool blanket I have and a knit cream coloured pumpkin I made.
