I think people miss the point of the show sometimes. The show is about saeroyi - he was emotionally inept in ways and he lived by principals that he believed would provide him a good meaningful life. Once he was sent to prison, he then began living out of revenge and rage. When YISEO came into his life, she brought reality, joy, excitement, encouragement, warmth, and love into his life. She helped him see things in a more dynamic way, and on top of that she LOVED HIM and SUPPORTED HIM and she was The one who made his dreams come true. It took him a long time but especially after his death scene with his dad - he realized he was living the wrong life. He needed to live for joy, for sweetness and for love. Which was yiseo and his friends. Not a life obsessed and absorbed by his angry past. This is the story of a boy becoming a man. And a woman choosing to love him no matter what. Sincerely one of the most beautiful works of film I’ve seen and I’m blown away. It’s still stuck in my mind
