As is often with the ways of God, I believe something bigger is going on here. Everyone involved and even those vicariously along the journey via youtube have been amazed at the unselfish eagerness to step up and be a blessing. In so many ways the world has grown dark. -The divisiveness among people....the eroding condition of our political, social and economics systems. To all involved and those witnessing the outpouring of goodness it has been a light....a directional light on how true community is suppose to work and i think most importantly a shining example of what it has to be if we are to be resilient in these turbulent times and season. Thank you for being instruments of His love and inspiring us all. This lifestyle of natural living, back to the basics, gardening etc are significant pursuits of homesteading but ultimately it's about community. It's the only pull strong enough to get homesteaders away from their land and away from their never-ending list of projects. To God it's about people. We are called to be a living sacrifice to His will by developing a servant's heart. This is the true cornerstone of the homesteading movement and untimely the most fruitful pursuit.
You guys are the Absolute best!!! Thanks for all your hard work and sharing your beautiful friendship with us on TH-cam. By the way, Ben, that table you made Rhenda! 😮😲❤Amazing!!!! You could make and sell some of them on the side too. Tennessee??? Did I miss something? Love you guys! Blessings ❤🙏
Megan I don't know how you and Ben keep everything going. You have to cook clean wash for everybody there is not enough time in the day to get it all done. You people are amazing I applaud you for how far you came and how far you're going. Keep trusting God no matter, what comes your way. Prayers.
Love your channel. You guys are doing what I did on a much smaller scale. At the end of my "tour" I purchased land in North Carolina and currently in the middle of building a She Shed where we will live in a year or two when I retire. You are so energetic and positive and I can't wait to see your new posts when you put them up. Your kids are very fortunate to have parents like you. They are and will continue to pick up a true pioneer spirit and learn to be self-sufficient and happy. Go for it! Live life to the fullest and never give up your dream.
Another wonderful video. You are obviously energized from your time at Jim and Rhenda's. Isn't it so true that we who give are really the one's who are most blessed? Dinner at your home always looks delicious! Drive safely!
To give is beyond wonderful. It lifts the spirit and soul. And to do so without expectations is the best feeling. God helps us be moved to help one another. And paste, well we've all been there.... blessings.
Hey Holler family. I haven't been commenting for a while. I had my big surgery. I have been keeping up on your videos. Thank you for entertaining me while I am healing. Great Ramen recipe! I lived in Poplar Bluff for about 6 months when I was in first grade, I was so, so happy to get back to CA! It was awesome you all helping Jim & Rhenda. How great is your community?!?!
Once you guys are settled, I highly recommend the spiralizer attachment on a kitchen aid mixer. If you get the set that has 7 different blades in it, you can make all different kinds of veggie noodles, slices, and curly fries. They’re not going to taste like regular noodles, but it’s so awesome to have fast, easy zucchini noodles, etc. also can peel/core/slice apples super fast. Great to put in the dehydrator.
Happy you chose to settle in North Cacalacky! I live in Louisburg, NC, just east of Raleigh. My husband has black angus and we have 3 goats, 6 donkeys and 8 dogs. Our farm is on the Tar River...rolling hills and red clay!
YUMMM!! I love ramen, and this would be so easy to adapt for a plant-based version, especially since I can't have traditional ramen noodles. We recently got a veggie spiralizer attachment, and it is AMAZING!! I can turn an entire butternut squash into veggie noodles in like 5 minutes. So, I'm definitely going to be trying this whole 30 ramen with a plant-based twist. Loved how you added the captions over the audio-less video. I really enjoyed that. 💛
On the road again..... Love shopping in a health food store. Thise noodles are awesome!!! You could make them yourself with your own veggies. You just need a chopper like the spiralina. I've made the zuchinni noodles with homemade marinara sauce.
Hi👋 wow I love all the green's there in the store I planted a lot of seeds out today and got all most all done Will be checking the new recipes out Meg and yummy veggie noodles I like to try them I hoping my zucchini will made good this year I will make me some zucchini noodles love them .Take care and safe travels love y'all ❤❤ Thanks for sharing God Bless
I am so sure it was hard to say goodbye to Jim and Rhenda..but I am also sure that y'all felt good knowing that your team took a HUGE burden off their shoulders..Y'all are AWESOME👍🤗❤️
Hi Hollars!! Your ramen looks delicious. I just moved from South West Asia to South Korea. The kimchi here is amazing. Here they make a cucumber kimchi which is super awesome. Once my wife arrives we'll try and do a video at the Korean BBQ place down the street. Amazing. God Bless. ~Mike and Ester~
I'm impressed that your kids like eating wasabi and kimchi!! My kids love it but their favorite is radish kimchi. We make our Kimchi from scratch and it is divine!!!!
I can’t have pasta so I make zoodles (zucchini “noodles “)when I get hungry for noodles. I love them. You can also chop cabbage or mushrooms into strips to substitute noodles. Great in a cream cheese sauce.
Hi. I live jere in Western North Carolina. Murphy. It is the wesrern most county in NC. I am about 2 hoirs from Asheville. Welcome! Hope y'all find your homestead very soon.
Hey, loved the retro music in the grocery store as well as in your camper when the mic was off it added a little......uh can't seem to think of a word here, alls I know is that it was nice!! The meal sounds good as well :)
@@TheHollarHomestead, Yeah, I know, I cracked me up as well, I had a bit of a ….what to call it....brain freeze?Brain fog? Or Senior moment LOL :)) Anyways great videos!! Say Hi to Ben and the boys :)
My husband just started a whole30 yesterday. Thanks for the recipe, I think he’ll love this! I’m doing intermittent fasting, no whole30 for me, I like my carbs too much!
In case it hadn't occurred to you, the bags at the grocery store are just there for convenience. Specifically looking at the oranges, but it applies in general. Most stores won't require things to be in bags. (I actually have a customer who brings her own wicker shopping basket to put all her food in.) Yet, wet things like lettuce are not advised to put on a checkout conveyor, but most foods should be rinsed anyway.
You can make pasta from scratch and add sourdough starter to it to make it easily digestible. sourdough starter breaks down the sugar in the carbs so they don't stay in the stomach for long. It's very good
Thanks for sharing the Missouri footage, I'm assuming, down HWY 60. We lived down that way for a long time. You know, I was disappointed when you guys chose NC and not MO, but I totally get wanting to be where the food scene was more progressive. Hope you find your dream place near Asheville soon!
Hey guys, this maybe to personal but, it be nice to have a video on how you personally planned for this( specifics ) what it cost you etc.... you lovely trip around the u.s and obviously doesn’t appear either of you are working but still have the ability to go and help others while still searching for your Homestead. Oh my gravy. Ramen is totally a guilty pleasure here, too. The kids BEGGED for it last week when we were at the store and I relented. It's so, so gross and yet we love it. LOL

And, Oh my goodness, I can not picture you all serving your homestead fresh eggs back at your former home with the old noodle recipe. lol That so used to be a favorite of mine too, until I started having fibro symptoms and then I was reading even more labels.
