Yes, absolutely start collecting physical media! Fortunately, blu rays have gotten to be dirt cheap nowadays, and even some 4k discs are inexpensive. You should be able to build a solid collection pretty fast. Check Amazon and Walmart and your local Dollar General for the lowest priced blu rays. You used to even see some decent ones at Dollar Tree, but I haven't for a while.
I cringe even thinking about watching a movie at 480p lol especially if that's my first experience. It's beyond me how anybody could watch this old technology absolutely ruining the experience with the movie. This is worse than streaming. I would be happy to just give away a box of DVDs if I had some. That ship sailed many years ago.

I bought it on eBay. Just search for "random DVD lot" or a similar phrase. A lot of the listings are not a good value, but some of them are.
