    German submarine U-977 was a World War II German Type VIIC U-boat which escaped to Argentina after Germany's surrender. The submarine's voyage to Argentina led to many and apocryphal stories: that it had transported Adolf Hitler or Nazi gold to South America, that it had made a 66-day passage without surfacing or that it had made a secret voyage to Antarctica.

      Yeah, but all lies - from capt. Schäffer. The U-977 most likely carried at least some of the gold loot for the Hitlers - who were in another U-boat, possibly part of 3-4 of them in a convoy. The head of the SIDE, secret intel of Argentina, Rodolfo Freude, has confirmed that he was part of a welcoming comittee that received the Hitler couple in July 1945. There is no reason to disbelieve Freude. The U-530 was a decoy sub, full of cigarettes, and was succesful in preventing Hitler from being located. Actually, the Hitlers were spotted on landing at the Necochea beaches in Patagonia - but managed to flee on. Reaching the San Ramón Ranch approx Aug 1, 1945. There are several credible eyewitnesses to the flight and on the San Ramón. 70-80% of populations in South America do not buy into the "official" narrative of a "double suicide" in Bunker Berlin... even today, 2-3 generations after the events. We even have Nazi German eyewitnesses, claiming they did participate in the evacuation operation, f.ex. Reinhard Schabelmann and Heinrich Bethe. There is little doubt, in my view, that the official narrative is based on lies, a massive fraud operation. .. Lead author in the south, Abel Basti, and also professor Llano in Paraguay, claim Adolf Hitler died in Feb 1971, while Eva lived until the age of 100 years and died in 2012 in Buenos Aires. They had 3 children together - and there´s grand children.

    As crazy as it sounds Argentina sounded like the best deal they thought they could get. This story sounds plausible enough, if you’re on the run you will go where you think you might be safe. No doubt this journey for the U-boat was the grist for the conspiracy mill. What a story.

    • @lowandslow3939
      @lowandslow3939 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Conspiracy mill? There was a very large German presence in certain parts of Argentina long before WWII. It has been proven that many high ranking German officers made their way there through France first, then Spain. The churches gave them new papers/identities and off they went. I even worked with an older guy, at sea, who was raised in Argentina, spoke with a German accent and had a copy of Mien Kampf on board. He was likely the son of one of those officers. He despised Jews and blacks. Called them the N word to their faces.

    I once lived in a place called Embu Das Artes, close to Sao Paulo, Brazil, which is famous for having Mengele burried in a cemetery nearby. In the town was a German Resturant run by three borthers, and in the afternoon, there friends would come by sometimes to meet drink etc, and they all spoke German. One day I asked...and they told me that the brothers and their friends were children of a group of young SS officers who were brought to Brazil by U boat near the end of the war.....so these stories are true. I asked one of the brothers, who became my friend if he met Mengele.....he said Uncle Mengee used to come by the house often when I was a kid.....I asked about others, and he said, all I can tell you is that Menegle was not the highest ranking Nazi offical to come by...our families where part of a survival network for people on the run, thats all

    As a boy growing up in Florida in the 1960s I knew about a U-boat that was scuttled by its crew off the coast of Ft. Pierce. My father was a private pilot and on several occasions we flew over the boat right offshore. You could clearly see the outline of it against the white sandy bottom. As I recall the sub was not completely flooded and the bow had air in it so it would bounce around in a hole in the sand that it had made over the years. My dad had a mason jar filled with mercury that someone had supposedly drained out of its trim tanks. I never could find out what boat it was and today I can find no reference to it but it was there... I saw it.
