Tenuous link for fans of Ireland and the Ford Sierra (imagine the Venn Diagram) - the Ford factory in Cork was the first car plant that Ford set up outside the USA and Henry Ford's family came from Cork - so Ford was Irish. Not only that but the Cork Factory was set up to build the Ford Sierra in 1982 and it was the last new model that was built there before the factory closed in 1984 - so there are some Irish-built Ford Sierras out there - but no Sapphires!
