I’m sure they watch your content because you have more to teach them than vice versa, so their “you should have discarded this tile instead of the other one” comments are indicative of their inexperience. I’m not sure what i would have done in south 3. I panic too when the timer’s running out and there are 2 riichis - sucks that you dealt into a massive hand, especially right after rejecting tempai. Maybe 5p felt safe b/c right lord dropped it in the presence of left lord’s active riichi and across lord tossed the 4p early on, making 5p appear safe. 5s also seems safe. Right lord doesn’t seem to be waiting for it, across lord discarded it, and left lord discarded 3s and 7s, meaning a 5s wait with 4s6s or single tile wait on a somewhat late riichi is really unlikely. 8p seems safe-ish too for similar reasons. I watch a lot of your videos and notice that you have a tendency to fold, which works well against dangerous hands but also means you sometimes give up game-deciding positions. This could be my inexperience speaking, but when a dealer repeat is really important, it may help to maintain tempai rather than to fold when all your tiles are equally risky.
