Thank you Jack. I have watched many, many videos about ORB and could never follow it until today. THANK YOU! But now a question, or me needing confirmation: first, you are picking a stock that you wish to purchase; then you see a set up with a pivot point. Then you use the ORB to determine when to buy the next morning PROVIDED there is adequate volume with bullish synchronicity? Is that correct?
Yes, in essence you're identifying a setup you like on the daily then using an ORB (15m, 30m etc) as the order entry technique. So the ORB is a tool to help you get in a setup you like on the daily vs a tool itself, but there will be a setup for the ORB itself to trigger... if that makes sense!
That would depend on your strategy regarding selling rules/guidelines you share to optimise profits, both in terms of monetary gain and efficiency of the monetary gain (time value).
Your videos are very helpful. There is a gap that I would preciate if you fill it for me. All of your videos are about targeting long signals, please have a little session about how to short in the market. It would be a lifesaver for forex trader like me. Thank you a lot for your videos
You can invert the scale and apply the same logic. Just because u trade forex doesn't mean you should short. Picking one side filters out loss, and longing is more profitable statisticly than shorting. Meaning higher chance of something rising in value, then going to zero. Good luck !

Great video. If you make an open range breakout trade on 30 minute time frame, should one close the position in the same day? Thanks
no, only if your stop gets hit

you mentioned on Minute 8 - the free roll blueprint video - cannot find it - which do you mean. Thx for your quality conent
Search for 'blueprint' on my channel . This video th-cam.com/video/bxSHCJW06RA/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
Hi, Is there a TH-cam channel or site where people analyze stocks based on peter lynch or Jesse Livermore Or warren buffet style? Thanks
I don't know. I have my own site where I analyse stocks based on my approach which is built on many of the greats such as Livermore, Wyckoff etc
I use 30 minute time frame a lot in trading. It works the best. Specially buying at the deep at resistance key levels at the end of sessions.
Thanks for watching and sharing your experience.
Thanks for your sharing!
My pleasure!
Do you primarily use buy stop limits or ORBs now then?
I communicate clearly with members of my platform whether I'm using an ORB or BSLO and the rationale.
great video thank you
Glad it was helpful!
so good jack
Thank you for taking the time to watch my videos
Is there ORB on forex too?
The context is difference on Forex because it doesn't have the set trading hours of US markets.

Most ORB fails after ar fiirst or second cande. It is better to wait for pullback.
Show me a large statistical study where you've got that information from, it is not my experience.
