    I just found your channel, I love how you bring us into your routine, I feel as if I'm visiting. I commend you for staying with your children & homeschooling them. While I didn't do that, my husband and I made the sacrifice to work different schedules to be there for our daughters. They're grown, love the Lord, and have gone from daughters to becoming our dear friends. Don't ever give your decision a 2nd thought, it is worth it. You're giving them a priceless gift. I'm 66 now, counting the days till retirement, and fearful of the finances not holding out. Your example is helping me trust more in the Lord for all that. He didn't bring me this far to leave me. God bless!

    I have been having a tough time this week. I have back slid on spending time on godly and biblical things. I was feeling very stressed and was not being patient with my children. Whenever this happens to me I feel a desire to watch biblical videos. I have been watching a lot of your videos the last couple days and they are really helping me get back into the right mindset. I really appreciate this channel! I also really like that you live a simple lifestyle. You don’t push all these brands and gadgets and fancy supplements. It’s refreshing. ❤

    Thank you for your prayers , I had mentioned to you that I recently married and my husband and I were trying to get under one roof but his house was Not selling as quickly as we thought it would . His house is now in escrow And the house that we Really like
    Is still available And so both houses are closing the same day . I just wanted to Take the time to say thank you so much .. ❤ . We had 3 contingencies on the house we liked and we weren't going to sign anymore. God provided literally on the last day , So I have recently learned so much about the importance of having faith . Thank you again ..😊

    Based on what you said about allergies and migraines it sounds like what I was going through and changing my diet a little helped tons. It was mostly hormonal issues causing this from years of birth control pills and eating processed foods and taking antibiotics. I added a lot of ancestral foods like bone broth and raw dairy (I can’t tolerate pasteurized) and it has helped tremendously. It’s also called the pro metabolic way of eating. Helped my skin issues as well. Hope this helps. God bless ❤

    I want to encourage you mamas of kids at home the importance of studying your Bible during a time when your children can SEE you studying it quietly. It is a powerful example to them, and they’ll grow up to adulthood saying their mom read her Bible and prayed every day. If you do it only when the home is quiet and everyone is napping or asleep then they’ll never have those memories.

      I absolutely agree with you, but just adding an encouragement for those who, like me, absolutely cannot focus when their children are awake- early morning, personal Bible time is the most precious time of my day! Adding in an extra 10-15 minutes of study time after lunch or some other time when they’re awake helps them see you doing it and helps refocus your attention on Christ in the afternoon, without having to give up the deep studying that is so nourishing first thing in the morning.

    Hi Anna! I wanted to reply to your question of if anyone knows of what to do for allergies and the chronic sinus infections that can accompany them. I have several friends who had the same problem and they use a Netty Pot. They no longer struggle with headaches or infections. They also have said that it is the most cost effective and healthy way they have been able to find to deal with the problem. They said it took a little getting used to doing it but is second nature now 😊! Hope this helps you and anyone else needing this info. Have a blessed day and thank you so much for your videos!     I have magnesium absorption issues too which leads to migraines from the muscles seizing up. I literally today found out that caffeine, and excess protein (protein powders) can stop magnesium absorption! I'd love prayers for wisdom over how to deal with the pain, be it diet changes, mental changes etc 🧡

      Woah, I didn’t know that! I’ll have to look into that more. I find a naproxen, a strong espresso shot, and a headache hat (you can find these on Amazon) to be the best thing to manage the pain. I like the put one on my neck and another around my head. Mine are triggered by hormones (if you haven’t tracked, maybe see if yours are too). Migraines can really wreck your whole mental state 😔 praying that the Lord guide you to find your triggers and help you manage them ♥️

      @@AnnaDysett mine are definitely linked to hormones too. They impact my shoulders, neck and muscles at the base of the skull the worst. Is it just the regular headache hat you use on your neck or is there a specific neck/shoulder one you know of? It looks like a great invention!

      @@DustAndGraceASMR I have two headache hats and I just put one on my neck. It’s perfect too if it’s too cold to put on your head. Putting in your neck for a few calms down the temp to make it more comfortable on your head. I hope this makes sense 😅

    Hi Anna, It's good to know about the Hear Bible study method. I use the Soap Bible study method. S it for scripture, O is for observation, A if for application, and P is for prayer. That has helped me study and understand certain things. I have to try your way to get a different outlook. Thanks. Have a wonderful day.

      I’ve heard of the SOAP method before too! They are super similar it seems, but I bet alternating would likely give different outlooks. You’ve encouraged me to switch mine up too every once in a while too 🤗♥️

    the past few months, i’ve been struggling with idleness in exercising and eating healthy. although i spend time with the Lord daily, sometimes exhaustion seeps into that time. i pray i can get the strength to develop healthy habits and be disciplined as well! thank you for sharing your healthy habits 💛

My kids are older now and I work full time so a very different life stage but I do spend quiet time each morning praying and journalling. I am in need of encouragement to read my bible independently though over and above my bible study group. So thank you for the book recommendation and Bible journal method. God bless.

    Hi Anna! I’ve recently found you and your videos and am so thankful! You are a breath of fresh air! I’m a mom to 4 adult children. I also disciple and counsel young wives and moms from my church. I really appreciate how you gently explain all the things you’re doing, always putting Christ first 🙌🏻💗
    My husband and I have had chronic sinus infections and have each had multiple sinus surgeries. One of the best things we’ve ever done to help with these issues is to use a NeilMed nasal rinse kit. You can do this at the bathroom sink or in the shower. I hope this helps you as well!

      That’s so good. It took me years to figure it out. I wish hadn’t been so hard on myself in my late teens and early 20s. I absolutely love my library too! I even figured out a way to browse/reserve books online and they have them ready for pick up as soon as I arrive. It’s a game changer!

    Im working on my allergies right now. If you eat local honey every day for 1-3 years for some people it can lessen seasonal allergies
    Also I was getting awful migraines for years but since my physical therapy abdomin massages every 2 weeks for chronic constipation my migraines are gone now🎉

    We also watch daily dose of internet before bed. But no tv allowed in bedrooms. We did that for years. We use an ipad then tuck that in a drawer for the night. The tv is too easy to sit and stare at for us but the ipad can be out of sight and helps us be more productive

    I do most of my scripture reading as well as house cleaning in the early morning. We get up at 4:30 Sunday through Friday. I don’t have much time after work to do anything let alone have my quiet time before bed.

    For sinuses, I love the simply saline extra strength with eucalyptus. I even had what I’m almost certain was a sinus infection and it took care of it within a day or two. I was shocked.

    Thank you for sharing the chocolate banana bark recipe, it looks so good and can’t wait to try it with my kiddos as well.
    Love your videos. What do your kiddos do while you work out? Just curious, or do you have someone watching them. As a stay at home mama, working out consistently is sometimes a challenge :)
    I would also like to see a video about how you manage your time as a busy mama and homemaker, while exuding so much calm. And what does a day in your life look like as a homemaker and mama.

      Ooo thank you for all the good video ideas! I set them up with some sort of activity before I get started. Sometimes they join in! 9 times out of 10 I am doing workouts in the house. Once in a blue moon I get to go for a run if a grandmother comes to visit which is what happened in this video. 🥰

    Have you tried kefir and other fermented foods for your allergies? Donna Shwenk has a lot of good info on her website about how/why that helps some people.

      1 banana cut thin
      1 heaping tbs chocolate mixed with 1/2 tsp coconut oil melted down
      1 heaping tbs of peanut butter mixed with 1/2 tsp coconut oil melted down
      Top with chopped walnuts and sea salt

    So something I did about 2 years ago I found out and I used it during springtime when my allergies are at its worst and it is a tea
    You wash the outside of your pineapple scrub it clean, cut it up, leave the butt and the top of the pineapple out. Those can go in the trash but the skin and the inside of the pineapple cut it up into pieces. Put it in a large boiling pot. Add cinnamon. Rosemary Ginger turmeric boil it until it looks like it's a yellow color. It'll look like a tea, strain everything out and then you can use that as like a tea by itself or add something else into it. Like a smoothie and do a cup of that a day with a local honey and that helped with my allergies and I did that from one whole spring and beginning of a summer. I stopped doing it just because honestly it just takes a lot of work and I didn't want to dedicate that much time to doing it anymore. But it did help my allergies a lot cuz during that time I usually had to double up on allergy medications. I had to do multiple. But I only had to do one Zyrtec a day with that instead of a Zyrtec plus another allergy medicine. It's not the best tasting so it works best with smoothies but it did help and I know some people who have done it and didn't have to take any allergy medicines at all. But for me I have too many environmental allergies and food allergies. I have to take Zyrtec daily.
    Taking Zyrtec helps with my skin allergies. I forget what the conditions called but where you can just take your nail and right on your skin and it becomes inflamed. I have that condition on top of everything else and Zyrtec keeps it from being inflamed all day everyday.
