Madikeri is a hill town in southern India. Framed by the Western Ghats mountain range, it’s known for the Raja’s Seat, a simple monument overlooking forests and rice paddies. In the center, the 17th-century Madikeri Fort features 2 stone elephants at the entrance. Nearby, the domed Omkareshwar Temple is dedicated to the Hindu deity Shiva. To the northwest, cascading Abbey Falls is surrounded by spice plantations.
Madikeri is a hill station town in Madikeri taluk and headquarters of Kodagu district in Karnataka, India.
Madikeri is the main town of Coorg and it also serve as the district headquarters. Other major cities of the Kodagu are Virajpet, Kushalanagara and Somwarpet. Coorg District is divided into the three talukas namely Madikeri, Virajpet and Somwarpet.

It was in first week of July. Now the weather is perfect for Madikeri.
Hi bro is it safe to ride on bike now there? Are there enough places to stop for washroom breaks?
Currently it's safe to ride as it's not that rainy. Yes there are many options for washrooms you can use any petrol pump or restaurant as washroom we used restaurants for quick breaks and washroom.
can we go on the expressway now? or we have to take the service roads at the expressway
For motorcycle the expressway is closed now.... You need to take the service road.
Did you travelled in expressway? Are bikes allowed?
Yes I travelled using the expressway in July 2023....but now it's banned for 2 wheelers

@@mageshmage1928 Service road is also fine.... One alternative route is there with good road highway that is Nelamangala yediyur Melukote route but that long route... When this Expressway was under construction people used to take Nelamangala - Yediyur - Melukote route.

Speed breakers are there that's the only complaint on the service road. Apart from that the road is good

Hello.... We went 2 weeks back that time rain had just started, I would not suggest to go for minimum another 2 weeks as just last week landslide news was there.
