      Nūr-E-Dharma
When the Maratha King Shivaji rebelled against the Mughal Aurangzeb, Shivaji sent Aurangzeb a letter demanding him to stop his persecution of Hindus. Shivaji sought to reestablish Hindu rule in India but made it a point to be inclusive of Muslims; while Aurangzeb obsessed over a fanatical wish to convert the subcontinent to Islam by any means necessary.
      Shivaji wrote:
“Verily, Islam and Hinduism are terms of contrast. They are used by the true Divine Painter for blending the colors and filling in the outlines. If it is a mosque, the call to prayer is chanted in remembrance of God. If it is a temple, the bells are rung in yearning for God alone.” -Shivaji’s Letter to Aurangzeb April 2nd, 1679
Notions of “worship my god or you are condemned to eternal hell” are alien to the Indian ethos. Pluralism is the blood of India. Ideally
The Mughal prince, Dara Shikoh, even wrote a treatise on the similarities of Vedanta and Sufism in a book - Majma-ul-Bahrain (The Confluence of Seas). Dara would translate the Upanishads from Sanskrit into Persian as he was fascinated by the concepts found in this mystical and ancient book. Dara would become convinced that the Upanishads were the Kitab al-Maknun (The Hidden Book) mentioned in the Quran.
India had a habit of making foreigners and foreign ideas attain a saffron hue as time went on. The Dargahs, Qawwalis, saint veneration, and many cultural practices of Indian Islam would be completely alien to the rest of the Islamic world.
Notions of “worship my god or you are condemned to eternal hell” are alien to the Indian ethos. Pluralism is the blood of India. Ideally

Mosques need to do more for the younger Muslims and also converts/reverts. It's very difficult to be understood when you're either young and dealing with kind of "Strick adults set in their ways and generational lifestyles" (for lack of better wording) people. And especially for converts seeking help after coming away from a life of crime/ sins. We need less judgment and more support so that it's easier to leave that and be able to fit into an Islamic community and lifestyle.

    [Jesus said],
*“And indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path.”*
    Qur’an 19:36
👉One of the scribes once asked Jesus (PBUH) as to which was the first commandment of all, to which Jesus (PBUH) merely repeated what Moses (PBUH) had said, namely:
*Shama Israelu Adonai Ila Hayno Adna Ikhat.*
    👉This is a Hebrew quotation,which means:
*Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord.* (Mark 12:29)
*Jesus declared, “I am truly a servant of Allah. He has destined me to be given the Scripture and to be a prophet.*
    Qur’an 19:30
*“And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God.”* (Mark 10:18).
*“I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.”*
    (John 5:30)
*Also Jesus said, “...for my Father is greater than I.”*
    (John 14:28)
👉If Jesus and God were the same then he would not have said what he said in the above verses.
*There is NOT a single verse in the complete Bible, where Jesus Christ himself says "I am God" or "Worship me."*
👉Those statements should be more than enough to ensure you that what you are doing rite now is CONTRADICTIVE to what Jesus taught in your Bible.
    👉Allah almighty says,
*For those who have believed and done good works, there will be Gardens for their dwellings, an entertainment as a recompense for their deeds. As for those who have adopted evil, their abode shall be Hell. Whenever they try to get out of it, they will be pushed back into it and it will be said to them,*
*"Taste now the torment of the Fire which you used to deny."*
    Qur'an 32(19-20)
    👉Allah almighty says,
*O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,
Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you?*
*In whatever form He willed has He assembled you.*
    Qur'an 82(6:8)
    👉Allah almighty warns you,
*For those who disbelieve in their Lord, there is the torment of Hell, and it is an evil abode.*
*When they are flung into it, they will hear its roaring, and it will be boiling up, as though bursting with rage.*
👉Every time a crowd is cast into it, its keepers will ask them,
*"Did not a warner come to you?"*
    👉They will answer,
*"Yes, a warner had come to us, but we denied and said, 'Allah has not sent down anything. You are not but in great error.'"*
    👉And they will add,
*"Had we only listened or understood, we would not now be among the dwellers of the blazing Fire."*
*Thus will they confess their own sin.*
*Damned be the dwellers of Hell!*
    Qur'an 67 [6-11]
So follow teachings of Jesus (PBUH).
Worship only Allah without any partners.
Follow Last and Final Messanger Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).

The only group of people that make this claim are naive Christians. I’ve never heard any other group make that claim. Even knowledgeable Christians won’t claim that. In fact, the more knowledgeable you are are about Christianity, the more accepting you are of Islam. The more ignorant you are of Christianity, the more islamophobic you are. This argument can be dealt with very easily. Mark 3:26 states “And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come.” (NIV) So it basically says satan cannot oppose himself. The Quran is full of satan opposing himself. The Quran warns you against satan, it urges you to seek refuge from satan, it opposes satan. So it cannot be from satan. Done.

@@sabbuofggh1629 “Islam” is growing because muslim women give birth, on average, to a larger number of children, and this at much younger age. One contributing factor, rooted in islamic theology, in a lot of muslim majority countries, is that women and wives have much less opportunity economically and socially. And religion is passed on to the children. This is the reason of growing muslim population and not conversions. However, the religious affiliation of people is a count of the muslims in population surveys and statistics, based on administrative sources on the religious affiliation. In practice, it is in most cases only possible to estimate religious affiliation in which people are borne in, but not the “true” believers. The vast majority of the so-called muslims are cultural or nominal believers, like the "christians” in europe. Individuals are borne in muslim culture, like others are borne in christian or hindu cultures. Culture but also nationalism foster the environment and ordinary "muslims" will defend their way of life, but that does not mean that they are "true" believers and identify with most of the islamic theology.

@@sabbuofggh1629 It is interesting to note that according to the gender Inequality index (which shows the loss in potential human development due to disparity between female and male achievements in three dimensions: reproductive health, empowerment, and the labour market), the ranking of most muslim majority countries is pretty low. Although inequality is low for instance in UAE (very low with rank 18 of all ! countries of the world with existing statistics), followed by Qatar (rank 43), Kuwait (53), Malaysia (62), and Turkey (rank 68), inequality is extremely high for instance in Mauritania (151), Niger (154), Chad (160) and highest in Yemen (162). Low level of income might explain one part of the observed gap, but in turn the low standard of living in those countries is due partly to religion, which in turn impacts on gender inequality. How can one break this vicious circle?

I can appreciate your effort to bridge the gap between believing Muslims and the surrounding western culture they live in but you actually gave the reason why the two are incompatible: the Muslim appeal to authority vs. western academic ideal of independent thinking. The main course of western civilization is built on the latter principle, whereas many Muslims are trying desperately to hold on to a 7th century belief system which your imams and scholars maintain has never changed and never will. Obviously this is false. There have been many changes in the Qur'an over the centuries. The problem is the denial by Muslims that they somehow have some kind of lease on the truth. The clash is apparent in the educational system which cannot in any way be reconciled with the religious claims of Islam. I'm not interested in attacking anyone but I can't see any way that Islam can coexist indefinitely in western society. One or the other will have to go eventually. Tell me if I'm wrong.

Also, it seems that the text of today cannot correspond to the missing “original” (changes, missing verses, burning of quran versions, etc.). Fact is ,we have ONE book, the Quran .
There are no sects in Islam.
There is no such thing as sunni shia etc etc
Hadith islam is obsessed with frivolous rules which detract us from the message of the Quran. You become 1 of 2 muslims,
First entirely follow another religion with all sorts of weird rules and adhere to these, second type you lose your religion as a result.
I can say categorically, that every single muslim who has lost their religion or left islam, is as a result of blind following, growing up in an environment/country where these rules exist which have nothing to do with the Quran, they are in fact alien to the Quran.
As i once heard someone say , if you came across the Quran in a cave, and had never heard about it (islam) and then met muslims, you would never connect the two
Thats sad, a real shame .
There is almost nothing these days we dont research or review, check, verify, a hotel, a new car, a holiday, a new employer, a potential spouse etc
Yet when it comes to religion, very happy to follow blindly without ever referring back to the Quran
